Yeah how exactly did they turn him heel? So *bleep*ing dumb, he was easily the best and most over face in TNA since AJ was champ, now they've gotta go and screw it up right before he finally wins the strap. I liked his poor man's Stone Cold gimmick.

Yes, I will agree with that. I can't remember if I discussed this on here before, but anyways, my two cents on the buyrates issue:

Having 12 monthly PPVs is excessive for a company of TNA's size. It should be reduced to either four or six a year, to give each one a proper build-up. Look at how they're building for Destination X several months in advance - yet they've got Slammiversary right bang in the centre of that, and it doesn't sit right.

Furthermore, the whole business model of PPV's needs to be questioned. In the age of the internet when any old joe can either stream live illegally, or simply YouTube/Dailymotion it the next day, why would they want to pay quite ridiculous sums of money to watch it on their TV? It speaks volumes that the only PPV which consistently generates a decent buyrate is Wrestlemania, because it is the flagship wrestling event of the year, and draws the attention of the casuals and even the curious. No other PPV has that sort of drawing power. This is a problem for both companies, as they need to find a way to make the PPV model attractive again. And if that proves impossible, then they need to think of a new model.

A big problem for TNA is also the lack of an international buyrate market. WWE are in a privileged position here as most of their PPVs need to be bought in most countries in the world - TNA, on the other hand, to attract foreign TV stations, offer their PPVs for free as part of the package. Their international PPV buyrate must be absolutely miniscule, only generating online streams from the most hardcore and dedicated of fans. While this does not excuse their poor American buyrate, it removes a massive revenue stream that WWE are in a position to tap into.

If it were up to me, I would move TNA to six PPVs a year. For the month in-between, I would show a PPV-style edition of Impact, showcasing the full experience and what to expect if you order the following month's PPV. Also, as an extra incentive, I would suggest a model where you get to download a digital copy of the PPV the next day if you order it.

Absolutely nothing strange about that at all? Young beat Anderson after Gunner distracted the referee allowing him to cheat, so it wasn't a clean win. As for next week's match:

Not at all, because the first one wasn't a clean win, and the second was a) a tag match and b) hasn't been broadcast yet, so it's foolish to pass judgment on it.

I grew up with the Attitude-era when swerves and controversial decisions happened all the time. I mean, could you imagine if the IWC community existed in 1999? Vince McMahon won the Royal Rumble, could you imagine the reaction! I prefer the excitement of not knowing whether the faces or heels are going to triumph, as it was during the best days of Attitude, rather than the current 100% predictability that says neither Cena or Orton will ever lose cleanly. To my mind, that is a far worse crime.
