Plenty of wrestler's have degree's, is' just a fallback for when/if they have to retire. How long have you been watching him? He's been pretty poor since he turned heel, but you should check out some of his work last year when he was close to(should have won) the TNA World title. I don't really see how a street preacher is a bad gimmick.

Granted, I didn't see him during his World Title challenge days, I only started watching TNA regularly relatively recently. But from what I have seen of him, in-ring and out, I haven't been overly impressed.

Obviously it's horses for courses, but for me, the religious preacher gimmick doesn't work. Maybe the disastrous run of Reverend D'Von and Deacon Batista put me off it ever working!

I missed the whole Reverond D'von thing so i can't really comment on that but it does sound poor from what i've heard.
Obviously gimmick's are as you say, horses for courses, so you may never like him but I wouldn't judge Pope on his heel work against Joe because it's comfortably the worst work of his TNA career. I personally put the poor work from him down to frustration on his part from being misused like shit for the past year when he was one of the most over guys in the whole company(predominantly from his excellent mic work which forced a face turn) and should have won the World Title barely a year ago.

I can not get into TNA PPV's anymore. This might not be how it came across to others, but I was extremely bored with Sacrifice. It felt exactly like a TNA iMPACT taping and the most annoying part again was the commentary. Cole at least has a bit of character to him even if people find him annoying. Taz on the other hand is just a giggling idiot. He also kept rambling on and on and on and would not Shut...The *bleep*...Up!

I thought it was probably the best TNA PPV in a long time, solid throughout and some good X-Division matches. The overbooking is annoying but it's TNA, so what else can you expect.

Jarrett/Angle needs to end though...

...but that wont' happen, cause they're wrestling again at Slammiversary. This time for #1 Contendership so it could finally be the payoff match but... for some reason, I see a double DQ and a triple threat the next month.

Oh and Abyss is the new X-Division champion. Terrific. Abyss is now the second Triple Crown TNA Champion. Why?

I haven't properly watched Impact for a long time, probably Bound for Glory 09, with Hogan there I have no interest in it. I will read the spoilers to keep up to date with what is going on, and if I see it on watch it on Spike for the lulz, usually for 10-15 minutes at a time before I get bored if that. Not going to actually watch it until wrestling matters, which it really doesn't.
