- Current negotiations involving WWE and Bill Goldberg are not finalized but the two sides are talking about a deal that would involve two matches between Goldberg and the Rock. The first would take place at Wrestlemania and the second the next month at Backlash, presumably with each wrestler getting one win.

- There is a chance that when the Rock returns, WWE will make him turn heel by turning on the fans. This would allow him to possibly face Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin later in the year.

- Many of the agents backstage are starting to believe that Triple H's influence on Raw is what is killing the show each week. However, no one except Pat Patterson ever speaks up and says anything about it as they fear repurcussions when being vocal against him due to his relationship with Stephanie.
