Yes, it would of been boring. I do know that. I criticized Cena throughout it. It was boring on both parts. Just the entire handling of this was horribly done. Sure, Sheamus is champ, but it just feels like a hollow victory to me. However, all of you glorifying Sheamus is no better then marks who glorify and ignore Cena's flaws. Both of them were dull, Sheamus winning is overall unexpected, I'm happy Super Cena didn't kill his push instantly, but his push has been badly handled outside of winning that tournament.

And Metal, any match can be done well if you know what you are doing. Just cause tables involved doesn't mean it couldn't be done well. Overall I don't see two guys smashing each other's heads all over, clothesline alone, and punches with Cena's incredibly slow pacing like everything is relaxed and cozy event very interesting. Even finish was handled boring as it took forever to set-up spot and could of done something better to make Sheamus look better.

Think of it like a story: If the overall way to get there is not well done, the match is not well done, but you get person you want to succeed to win over someone is boring in comparison doesn't make up for everything else. At most, it compensates, but nothing more.

And how would you have handled his push Dash? Have him beat up more Jamie Nobles throughout the roster for the better part of 2010 before finally being given a title shot? Have Orton vs Cena for the umpteenth time while Sheamus is on the backburner waiting for such matches as MITB or the never used King of the Ring? You're casting stones before anything has even had a chance to breathe. I'm looking at this as a story book, it's the first chapter in the Sheamus title reign.

You're ignoring the fact, for the first time in years someone new, someone fresh, has been given the ball and a chance to run with it. Sheamus winning the WWE title is refreshing to RAW even if the match itself was lackluster. It's subjective whether you think his push was done horribly or whether someone thinks it was handled as best as could have been given the rush to get him to main event status.

Reminds me of the night Jericho won his "first" WWE championship against Triple H.

also i just came in, so I missed the whole first half of the PPV. I have no idea of the prior results and i'm blazed as hell, I bet i'll have a god damn heart attack
