You know, I gotta a feeling (no pun intended ;P) that Orton/SuperCena will open the card.

re: WWE PPV Thread 2009 (Pt. 8) [Survivor Series: November 22, 2009]

I actually think I might watch this ppv. Seriously, it has enough on it to keep me entertained, I might order it. Cena/Orton should be entertaining/engrossing. I mean I will be wondering constantly who is going to win, I honestly can't tell. Taker's title match should be good, even with Rey and Batista in it. The two "bragging right" Matches should be ok to watch, even the Diva one. And then, there is Miz/Morrison. I can't stand Morrison(I think it is the good guy attitude he is sporting, he is turning into a Teleprompter for the kids to base themselves off of. "While Miz is proving he is not Marty, I am just Me" The *bleep* is that shit? Why have him pander the "Just be yourself" shit to the kids? Are they trying to replace punk with him?), but Miz is actually growing on me a bit, even though I still think "Real World/road rule challenge" when I see him and laugh to myself.

Oh, and Morrison is obviously the Marty. Marty didn't hold the US title after all.....

Morrison has been ECW champ as well I want to watch this PPV, actually, but not sure if I'll be able to.

So you're using that one line as an example for his entire character? You must really not lke him to point something that minor out. Like it or not, Morrison is great at what he does, and he just needs some time to work out his character. When the time comes he will truly define who he is.

Also, I'm watching Bragging Rights, should be awesome.

Morrison's character is overbooked, the weird film shit and the strange words...I sense a lot of it is just him and internet humour pandering, really I think he's just a nice bloke who's tried a bit too hard but luckily he has everything else down and doesn't need to have a character to get over. Cause his current gimmick remains a heel gimmick until someone properly antagonises him.

I don't think I'm watching the PPV now. Friend doesn't have any money to go to the theater so I have no way to get to the theater now and home. I'll just keep up with it another way.

Um his lack of a gimmick is exactly WHY he isn't over right now. When they write him good lines he can deliver (Dirt Sheet last week, for example), but he barely has mic time to cut authentic promos and when he does it's just dumb shit like trying to teach the audience to "Mr. Ziggles". Which was a total fail and really gay, the only person who can teach audiences a chant is Edge when it's about Angle.

It isn't quite free in the UK. We still pay a monthly charge for the sky sports package.

Glad to see it at 12am rather than 1am. Probably due to the Daylight Saving Time.

re: WWE PPV Thread 2009 (Pt. 8) [Survivor Series: November 22, 2009]

I really hope the Iron Man match, considering the No DQ policy, is going to be something epic that really shapes Raw in a lot of ways for the coming months. So many potential interferences in Legacy, DX, etc.. not to mention anyone else who they might be planning on quickly pushing in to fill the main event gap. They've got an hour to pull together a lot of storylines concerning Orton and Cena and other workers, and I hope they take advantage of that to really give us something we've never seen before, or at least the two of them at the top of their game consistently instead of just rest holds and punches constantly.

re: WWE PPV Thread 2009 (Pt. 8) [Survivor Series: November 22, 2009]

That's what I fear. I don't want to see a bunch of rest holds. With the No DQ, I want to see something more. I think the Iron Man match could be a pretty good match but there's also the chance it can't.

I might just wait to watch it tomorrow but I'll probably end up reading the results as the come.
