	Bring in D'Amore, Prazak, and Raven I know they wanted to cut costs on their roster, and it didn't seem like they were doing it. Maybe because Gabe kept booking everybody and Silkin got pissed off at him for that? RoH To Feature More Entertainment Than Wrestling quote 411mania.com ROH owner Cary Silkin made the decision to let Gabe Sapolsky go as booker. Sapolsky was told at the ROH show in Edison over the weekend and was said to have been shocked. Things did end on good terms between the two sides. One of the reasons Silkin let Sapolsky go is because the company now thinks that to grow, it will need to focus more on the entertainment side of things and less on the wrestling side. Silkin wants a new direction and feels like the promotion isn't hitting on all cylinders right now. Sapolsky also drove people crazy with his fits from time to time. 	Delirious lost AGAIN!? It's hard to take the AotF stable seriously when all of the wrestlers in it constantly lose. As for Nigel, there's a good reason why his long title reign isn't as interesting as Joe's or Danielson's. For Joe's case, he essentially built the reputation and interest in RoH through his reign with his awesome ass-kicking performances, his great matches, and his little side feuds he had while as the champion. Nigel isn't building any further reputation for RoH, or bringing in new fans. For Bryan Danielson's reign, most of it took place in the middle of the war with CZW, where Danielson merely represented RoH as its champion, the title itself just being a backdrop in the situation. And later on during the feud Danielson broke away with it to come off as a heel, pissing off the fans more that Danielson was using his influence as the champion to hinder his fellow RoH wrestlers against CZW. And then afterwards Danielson used that belt in his storyline to be the "Best in the World," taking on all comers, including Pure Wrestling Champion Nigel McGuinness. Nigel's title reign isn't a backdrop to any other feud, he doesn't seem to have his own major story going on when needing the belt is important. Nothing else important is going on in RoH, so the attention turns to its champion, who unfortunately is doing the same thing over and over and not really doing anything to build up the legacy of the title other than beating the same guys over and over. He isn't going around the world to beat everyone he sees. He isn't jumping into other major storylines to turn the attention on himself as the champion. He's just there, a placeholder for the belt. And now that he's beaten everyone, the one who finally beats him will be rather deflated since they would have likely lost to him several times already, like Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, and Jimmy Jacobs. Now that they have a TV deal, it's time for RoH to move the belt to a face, but this would only make sense if it were a newer face who hasn't already lost to Nigel numerous times before. You'd want the belt to be moved to a major star, but all of the major stars have lost to him several times already in the past year. I honestly believe they should build up KENTA like crazy when he returns, so the newer fans tuning into the TV show (who won't be many since it's on a network not many people have), will think he is a big deal. Then, have KENTA beat Nigel for the title and hold it for a month or two, before losing to another heel that could really use the belt to build himself and any storyline he has going on up. Like Aries or... Jacobs. Aw shit RoH needs SOMETHING big to go on outside of the title picture so the fans can concentrate on something else, and then the belt can be moved over to that storyline to make it a bigger deal while other stars are built up on the side during the storyline, or other stars who have been hampered by Nigel can be built back up, like Danielson and Black. I can't believe I just recommended Jacobs to be the champ, but the AotF may not be taken seriously anymore due to constantly losing. RoH will likely move the belt over to Tyler Black, even though I would have rather it been Danielson awhile ago, but that ship sailed with constant losses to Nigel. Edit - Better yet, make your heel stables more serious. Merge the AotF and S&S Inc. and have them start kicking the shit out of everyone. Then move the belt over to Chris Hero from KENTA and there's your solution that I would be very pleased with Edit: Feb 28, 09 ------------------- Finished with the Neoseeker forums.
