Sigh, while I think this is going to come off the wrong way, you all seem to be whinny fools to think that sex, drugs, extreme, and all that shit is going to make a good show. It doesn't. Proof of this is TNA who tries some of that all the time yet they only have around a 1.1 every week.

The only reason your precious attitude era worked is cause it was something new at the time, had amazing STORY TELLING, and MEMORABLE characters in such people as The Rock, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, HBK, The Brood, Dudley's, Hardy's, and so many others. The reason it worked for ECW is cause it had amazing STORY TELLING, and MEMORABLE characters such as Taz, Raven, Sandman, Terry Funk, Mikey Whipwreck, Shane Douglas to name a few. WCW worked well at a time because it had.....do I really need to say this again and make examples? Seriously? TNA at one point, Ring of Honor still, any damn wrestling company that does good despite fact that there are many different styles out there.

Seriously, any fool can act extreme or crazy or dark. Doing it without *bleep*ing understanding why it works or when to use it and how to make it work is one of the problems now of days in writing and with the fan base. I know I can say this do to the tons and tons of people who think instantly making something extreme makes it better. Well, newsflash, it doesn't. If it did, then hell, companies like CZW would still be popular or TNA would be getting more ratings.

For all the people saying they want "extreme" things constantly you are missing the big picture. It would get stale very fast. At first it would be "Oh my god, Kane just set JR on fire," but if you want to keep seeing stuff like this on a regular basis it would get old. This is why, as Dash mentioned earlier, CZW is declining in popularity.

And another thing, you guys say you want extreme stuff and great story-telling, well that stuff is in ROH. Whenever people like CM and Audiobank woukd bring up how ROH has stuff you guys want in wrestling you'd call them "elitist" and other things like that. There's stuff you want in wrestling which is relativly easy to get, but you won't pursue it.

To add to what he said I feel that character development is restricted because of the new focus on kids.

Kane has gone from the American Psycho to a jolly giant, slap his face on a can of vegetables and I would see no difference from this. With this focus, Vince obviously doesn't want to have JR getting burned or Shane's balls getting electrocuted.

Just one example of many, but I feel like the only talent who hasn't changed to focus is MVP. There probably are other examples, but he's the only one I can think of. There definitely are other problems (Writing and storytelling absolutely blow...) but the new focus must be blamed somewhat for the lack of depth that we see in many superstars, even veterans.

Hell, even going with that with Kane, what worked so well as that is fact when he was like that, it was right after mask was removed and they worked to make you truly believe he was seriously mental. Now, before someone tries to use this, that doesn't mean the answer is to just make people heel, that's again missing the point. It's about making characters that are interesting and having events around them that are believable. It's one of the things missing in many places and with smarks who complain for better stuff yet many don't truly get how to make it better.

ROH is one of few companies that actually has that down, which is why such people like CM or Audio enjoyed it, though the latter had his own problems in many other things and his understanding of wrestling things were more of the elitist and corrupted in some fields. CM is better example since he has more things down then others and was just trying to enjoy product, though he does admit he wants WWE & TNA dead. But I'm starting to get off subject there and will just say doing something for the point of doing something is stupid.

Yeah they could have gone about doing things differently, but it did make for some fun to read arguements.

I know Audio bot Perma-banned, but did CM Get banned as well, if he did i did not know this. And the reason that ratings have went down is because of one man: David Beckham.

Oh OK, I thought something was different about this place, feels nice and peaceful.
