Eugh. A year that started so well has quickly descended into the crapness of summer 07 again.

I don't even think they can do Cena gay jokes with a PG rating...

TBH, I don't care much about ratings or acts. Things being crazy for fact of craziness is just as stupid as toned down nice image for the fact of pleasing someone, both suck if things arn't run well storyline wise and through character development. Actions don't mean a damn thing if you don't have memorable characters.

I don't know about here, in the US.

But, when I was back in my country, Indonesia (where WWE is now banned ;_____; ) The show started at like 11 o'clock. Surprisingly, the majority of viewers are like elementary kids. I started to watch Smackdown! when I was like 9 years old (RAW wasn't on air at that moment) And me and my friends kept on discussing about the show.

And then, like 4 years ago, they decided to show all three brands. And again, the majority of viewers were kids. I remember my 6 year old cousin was watching those shows, and we were discussing those shows- even though the TV station aired it at 11 o'clock. Then, it's finally banned, because the government thought that it's the main cause of kids' death in the past few months (which is kinda true, considering all of the deaths were related to the kids copying the wrestling moves to the others)

My point is, kids do boost the rating. Sometimes, the kids couldn't watch the shows because their parents don't let them to (considering of the materials) But, by kidfying (is that even a word?) the parents might let their kids to watch those shows- which means boost in rating.

But honestly, I think the problem about WWE's rating is because of the internet people like us. We can't stop complaining, and some of us actually know what's going to happen. So it's kinda taking the fun factor away, in my opinion. Other than, some people can't simply be bothered to watch the shows on TV. They'd rather to watch the shows from Youtube, because it's so easy, you know? And let's not forget about indie feds. Some indie feds make WWE lose their audiences. Some of the audiences would prefer to see indie scene instead of the mainstream, and they can get it easily from the internet nowadays.

So yeah, I think Internet does have an impact on the declining of WWE's rating. And they tried to overcome this problem, but they failed so far, I guess.

Ok I dont see how hard it is to throw in some fire tables.
Give them some protective padding on the back, put a coat on them in a street fight.

honestly who cares, except those trying to kid themselves that wrestling is exclusivly for young adults and not for children too.
