Grand Slam? I don't recall RoH having four belts, unless you are now including the FIP title as the fourth belt along with the World, Pure, and Tag titles. And if you are including the FIP belt, Danielson is closer as he only needs the tag title, while Nigel has yet to win the FIP belt (I don't think Nigel has ever wrestled much for Full Impact Pro).

That's a Triple Crown then. It is generally accepted that Grand Slam refers to "four" while Triple Crown (triple) corresponds to the number "three." Danielson is just as close to a Triple Crown as Nigel is, as both are in this tournament (and I honestly believe him and Aries have more of a shot at the tag titles than the current RoH world champion does).

And hey, I wouldn't mind seeing Steenerico winning. After watching their match against BxB Hulk and Shingo, I love them!

And another "interesting" addition to Saturday: The Osirian Portal. One of the top younger teams in CHIKARA, they feature Ophidian, Amasis, and sometimes everyone's favorite...MECHA MUMMY! They'll be part of the preshow.

Edit: Likely won't be able to do live results tonight, heading out after work and what time I get home to check the boards depends on when I drag myself out of Dave & Buster's (that should be sometime between 9 PM-closing, which I think is 1 AM). Hopefully I can do the PPV tapings tomorrow night.

Just thought I might drop by and say that rohwrestling.com is having their Buy 3 DVD's, Get 1 Free sale. If I can, I think I might get Manhattan Mayhem II; Good Times, Great Memories; Better Than Our Best; and The Fourth Anniversary Show. Yay or neigh?

Main show:
The first 6 matches were part of the 8-team tag tournament to crown new ROH World Tag Team Champions...
Adam Pearce & Chris Hero beat Vulture Squad (Jigsaw & Ruckus). Hero pinned Ruckus. Jigsaw & Eddie Kingston brawl post-match until Ruckus breaks it up.

Kevin Steen & El Generico beat ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness & Go Shiozaki by submission. Steen makes Nigel tap to sharpshooter.

AOTF (Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black) beat Delirious & Pelle Primeau. Black pinned Primeau. After the match, Delirious asked Daizee Haze out. Titus breaks it up. Apparently Daizee said no.

Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson beat NRC (Roderick Strong & Davey Richards). Danielson makes Strong tap via triangle.

Kevin Steen & El Generico beat Chris Hero & Adam Pearce. Generico pinned Hero.

AOTF beat Austin Aries & Bryan Danielson by DQ. Aries DQ for using a chair that Jacobs initially brought into the ring.

Shane Hagadorn beat Alex Payne.

Claudio Castagnoli beat Eddie Edwards.

Erick Stevens beat Necro Butcher & Brent Albright in a 3-way match by pinning Necro.

AOTF beat Kevin Steen & El Generico to become THE NEW ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Black pins Generico with a schoolboy. Crowd litters the ring with trash and even a chair in protest, while Jacobs cuts a promo to end the night. So much for respect for rules by fans-they clearly state you can only throw streamers.

I thought Danielson and Aries should have won it last night, but if Gabe hotshots the belts to them tonight, it wouldn't make much sense to me at all. I know they lost to the AotF by DQ, so that's the reason of the match, but I just don't like seeing non-gimmick belts hotshot around.

He'd be one of the perfect guys to take the belt off Nigel. He's lost to Nigel through controversy both times, and he's one of the most over faces right now.
