I hope DX do not reunite. I prefer if every man is for himself. It'll be more interesting imo.

I think that the only team up anytime soon of HBK and HHH would be against Randy, but besides that doesn't look for any reason to have them team up for awhile.

I doubt they'd put Taker and HBK on the same show, due to them being such vets and all. HBK and Taker are the only two stars left that are still actively in the business since the first Raw show ever.

That may be true, but the ending of the Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys had one of the most thrilling and dramatic finishes in recent memory. I flipped my TV over to the MNF game after Jerry Lawler's favorite team-the Cleveland Indians-finished off the New York Yankees, and I could not bring myself to change the channel. That should speak volumes right there because I will change the channel fairly quickly (specifically, within a few seconds) if a program or game doesn't garner my interest, either with score or implications involving the teams that I cheer for.

Back on point. The reason why the number turned out to be THIS low is not only because of the playoff series and the usual Monday Night Football. The reason is that the WWE Writers have turned what could have been a chance to make things right into a real mess, however not all of that mess is the fault of the writers--the injury to Cena is proof that the best laid plans can unintentionally fall apart.
Most of the blame goes to the writers because they decided to have Triple H's 11th World Championship Reign the shortest of his career (and one of the shortest in WWE History, albeit Orton's 2nd reign as World Champion was shorter by a few hours), awarding the title to a wrestler whose actions-past and present-is unbecoming of a champion.

In the past, Orton has had allegations of sexual harrassment levied against him-whilst unproven they drove a pair of Divas (Amy Weber and Rochelle Lowen) out of the company-been busted for smoking pot, which led to a 60-day suspension; he trashed at least one hotel room, getting him bounced from an International Tour, and-the kicker in my opinion-Orton is (legitimately) rude to the fans outside of the ring--there have been multiple allegations of that nature.
While the last one may have something to do with his gimmick, there is no way that he should carry the rude part of the gimmick from the ring and pass that off on the fans. That is just wrong if this is true. Jim Ross mentioned this on his most recent blog entry, which he states the following:

It's no secret that Orton has not done the best job of taking care of the man that he sees in the mirror (then again Britney Spears hasn't done so well in the same department either; a picture of her on a recent magazine cover bears more semblence to Sally Jessie Raphael [who's 72 years old by the way]). Seriously, if I caused half of the problems that Orton has in the past few years, I would have sought help after the sexual harrassment claims.

To sum it up, I honestly think that more people cannot stand seeing Randy Orton as the WWE Champion than people who couldn't stand John Cena as the WWE Champion, for the actions that I've stated. To rectify this, WWE Writers need to scramble, because should SMACKDOWN do better in the ratings than RAW this week, I would not be surprised to see Orton's reign as champion come to a quick end. As to who gets the title, I don't know--it could be the Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy, who had a WWE Championship Ladder Match against the Undertaker a few years ago. Or it could be Triple H, who I'm pretty doggone sure wants to become a 12-Time World Champion--I know I would love to see that! Another possibility is Mr Kennedy, but after sandbagging (in my honest opinion) an arm drag in his match last week with Cena, subsequently putting him on the shelf for six months to a year, I don't think he's quite there...yet. Or the title could go to The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, who made a surprise return Monday Night (one that JR mentioned was weeks away in the most recent blog entry; already linked to source), but the only question is: does Vince think that Shawn is ready for a WWE Title reign after he returned this past Monday?
Dark Horses to consider include Bobby Lashley, who is still out with an injury but had one heck of a match against Cena at a PPV earlier this year. And we cannot forget about Chris Jericho, who has been rumored to have signed a contract with WWE, but nothing has been confirmed......yet. If this were true, then how long would it be until the Ayatollah of Rock'n'Rollah rises to the top, especially if ratings fail to reach 3.0 next week?
Or will Edge transfer back to RAW upon return from injury and take the title from the other (and less entertaining) half of Rated-RKO? I just think that Edge is more entertaining than Randy Orton, that's why I mentioned Edge as a possibility.

Only time can tell the answer, but I have this in closing: I hope the Cena haters are happy. They got their wish.
Except they should have been a lot more careful in what they wished for, because I honsetly think that we were better off with Cena at least losing the title in a match, not by getting injured.
I just hope that the haters eventually see this. And if you were wishing for Cena to get injured, or are happy that he was injured, then that just shows the kind of person you are.

I would have stated this sooner but there was a lot of uncertainty last week, and the way it turned out had me pissed off--that's why I waited so long so it wouldn't turn into a profanity-laced tirade, which would have made me look very bad.

But the Hardy/Kennedy match was very good, and was probably one of the best, if not the best, non-title match of the year so far. And despite being irritated at Kennedy for being the one to put Cena on the shelf for six months to a year, it was still an excellent match--possibly a Match of the Year candidate.
