Forum Etiquette
Please do not use extremely bright colors for your text. It's too hard too read. This is not a rule, but would be greatly appreciated. Also, do not write your whole post in CAPS. This is very annoying, and a sure way to have others ignore your post, and subject you to a warning or temporary ban.
RULES
1. Please ensure that you stay on topic. - Read the posts in a thread carefully, and make sure you know what you are talking about, if you are going to join the discussion. Make sure it relates in some way to what the other posters are talking about. See Off Topic Material.
2. Please do not aid an "off topic" post. - If a member or visitor breaks Rule 1 and either posts a new topic which doesn't concern Driver 2, or posts a reply in an existing thread which doesn't concern what the other posters are talking about, do not add to the trouble. A moderator will lock or delete the off topic thread.
3. Browse the forum before posting. - Please use the 'Search' feature to find answers for any questions you have prior to posting as most topics you might want to ask about have probably already been asked and answered. Also check the "Topic Listings" sticky post for many of the major threads in this forum.
4. Please be specific when creating a thread title. - Make sure your thread title is short, relates to what you are posting about and is as descriptive as possible, while using as little space as you can manage. Also, avoid using block capitals in your thread title.
5. Please do not repeat an existing thread. - If you have something to say, please post it on the existing thread. DO NOT start a new thread about another thread that already exists. If you are caught repeatedly doing this, a moderator will contact you and warn you to stop it.
6. Please try not to post the same message two or more times in a thread. - If you accidently double post, please delete one of the two.
7. Please refrain from using bad language. - Try to keep your posts clean, and free of bad words. You're not the only person on the forum. There are younger people than you using the forum, and its important to remember that, even if they shouldn't technically be here due to the game's Teen rating. Bad words don't make you big. They just indicate an inadequate grasp of your natural language.
8. No flaming, derogatory, profane or vulgar remarks are allowed. - Enough said. You know what this means. Keep it related to Driver 2 or you'll be in trouble.
9. Please refrain from posting anything offensive. - Again, this ties in with Rule 8.
10. Please do not impersonate or pose as another member and/or a Neoseeker Driver 2 Moderator. - Moderators can see the IP addresses of all posters and run a check to see what names a poster uses. Rather than ruin someone else's good reputation on the board, make your own sooner than impersonating them.
11. Please do not spam the board. Any spamming will be deleted. - Have constructive discussions, rather than posting 10000 threads to boost your own ego.
12. Do not misuse !report. - Posters have at their disposal a little tool marked !report, which they can use to block troublemaker's posts, as detailed below. If anyone is found by a moderator to be reporting innocent people's posts that didn't break any rules, they will receive a warning.
13. Do not advertise your site. - This is stated in the general rules, but it needs to be re-iterated here. If you want to plug your site, do so in your signature. Straight out self-plugging will be instantly deleted with no comment.
Off Topic Material
Off topic material is defined as "anything not associated with Driver 2". Any material which classifies as off topic material in the opinion of a moderator can and will be moderated at the discretion of that moderator.
Rule Breakers
If you suspect a member or visitor has broken one of the above rules, you can take minor action on them yourself while waiting for a moderator to arrive.
In the bottom right of an offender's post, there is a little link marked "!report". If you click this, the offender's post will be blocked from view, only able to be viewed by a moderator after being reported. Make use of this feature to help the moderators keep the forum clean. WARNING : Misuse of the Report feature, such as blocking posts that had nothing wrong with them, breaks Rule 12. In this case, the "helpful" member will be the one in trouble rather than the supposed offender!
What Happens To Trouble Makers
On your first offence your message/thread may be locked or deleted, and a warning will be issued either in the thread you broke the Rules in, or privately, via NeoPM (NeoPM private messaging applies to registered members of neoseeker.com only.)
After a second offence, you will receive a written warning via email, or again, it will be posted in the thread which you broke the rules, also a small suspension may be placed on your account (Usually 1-4 days)
After three or more offences, Neoseeker administrators will be informed. This can lead to your account being temporarily suspended, or a permanent ban from the forums altogether. See the FAQ for more information on this.
***IMPORTANT NOTE***
Members that are serving a ban (even a small one) will not be allowed to "get around" the ban by creating another username or posting as a guest. Doing either of these while a ban is out on you will result in a PERMANENT BAN being placed on all of your accounts. Another possibility is that your ISP(s) will be contacted and requested to revoke your internet service.
Note: Every Neoseeker moderator now has the power to ban you at his/her own discretion. Read and heed!
Finishing NOTE
These rules are designed to keep the forums clean, informative, and entertaining for everyone. Please be considerate of all the different people who come and enjoy the forums by following these rules and being on your best behaviour. They are also in a constant state of remodeling and subject to change for the better or worse at any time. Moderators accept no responsibility for members or visitors who do not check the rules regularly for updates.
Thank you for your time

Special Thanks goes to Kuduros, for writing such a nice rule setup and then allowing me to hack it apart to serve my own immoral purposes.
P.S. Please address all rule-related questions/comments to the section moderator, Josh17.
