Who is your favourite overall Asian star, and what does he/she do.

When you say star... are you asking for sport star or movie star that crossed over or what are you refering to?

All of the above, just overall, or you can specify in certain categories. But I meant star just like as in movie star, sports star, political, whatever.

Well then my vote for movie goes to Jackie Chan. He is currently a box office hit and very popular. All of his movies are also pretty good.

I prefer Jet Li myself, but as for sports go, I would say Yao Ming, that guy is huge and reps Asia in the NBA.

Yea for sports Yao Ming (also known as Ming Dynasty) is by far the best. He is already getting hyped up to be the rookie of the year. Not to mention being the first FIRST OVERAL draft pick from Asia.

Jacky Chan!

Ming Dynasty is the best for sports (he's like the only one) . For movies/ actors i would like Jackie Chan. He has funny movies such as Rush Hour

I'll have to go with Remy Ong for sports, World No. 2 in Bowling, Singaporean I may add.

As for the movies, its a close call between Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but I'd have to go with Jackie

Oh yeah - the team that was part of the South Korea World Cup Squad, they're one of my favourites as well.

Aren't the the first Asian team to make it to the World Cup semi-finals? Anyway, I'm being biased, I'm Korean

Yeah, they're the first Asian team, even if they got help from the refs, heck, I'm proud an Asian country went to as far as the semis.

There's this Thai chick named Myria Benedetti. I thought she was pretty. She's a singer. I saw her a few times when we still had MTV Asia.

When it comes to singer, i think Ayumi Hamasaki might be the best singer from Asia. She is like the pop queen in Japan right now and her songs are great.
