I wish it was colder. I live in the middle of California, so we get all the ridiculous winters where its like 0 degrees outside, and we also get the hot summers where car tires melt and people die from heat stroke. It would be cool if I lived near the ocean, but I'm actually in the middle of Califonia

Isnt it worse near the ocean... with all the humid? Hehe we go below 0C in Canada . And in the summer it can go as high as low 30's.

Actually, I think humidity really isn't an issue in most parts of California, or maybe its because I'm so used to it..

But compared to places like Houston and south Florida, the humidity in the bay area and LA is almost nothing.

I hate summers. I live in Las Vegas. It feels like Hell here, seriously.

Santa Ana has ideal weather almost. My parents live near Oceanside, right underneath it. Half the homes in that area don't even have a/c installed cuz they never have a need for it. Damn I miss Socal

BTW anyone hear about the earthquake in Sichuan today? Supposedly 10000+ dead, epicenter was just 90km away from my hometown Chengdu. Scary shit, but my fam is ok at least. My prayers go out to everyone else in that area.

Santa Ana Winds spark those fires and blow dust from the deserts. Not exactly ideal. Also makes it easier to get sunburnt in dry weather. At least I think so.

Thing about California is when it gets hot, it stays hot and only gets hotter until sunset. It's not like in the midwest where they get storms in the midst of the heat to cool everything down. That's why temps rise real high in Cali and there's no stopping it - At some points into the 100°s. But I still prefer going to the beach to cool down than have some freaky storms do it for me.


Yeah I heard about that quake. That's huge. It's almost an 8. Man nature's gettin real deadly right now around Southeast Asia. First that cyclone and now an earthquake.

San Clemente right? I whiz by that shit doin 110 everytime I drive up and down the 5 from SD to LA. Fun times, never got a really good look at SC tho haha.
