Just make sure you survive the torture. It can be hard but it's worth it. There are different techniques on this so just look it up.

My tip is, even after the electricity has stopped you can keep gaining helth so you'll have a little extra for the next round. So don't stop tapping until your sure you can't gain any more health.

Yes, I've done this on my first time through the game. It's really pretty easy; I only came close to failing once once. When you get Meryl at the end, you get a Bandanna to use for your next game, which, in my opinion, is really useful. I have yet to finish my game with the Bandanna, but I've already submitted to the torture so I can get Otacon's Stealth Camofluage for my next game. Does anyone know if I can get both items by getting one at the end with the other already in stock (as in my current game)?

Yes, if you have already submitted then you will get the Stealth Camo. Then in the next game you will have both (and I think Snake wears a costume too). So it'll be really fun.

I hear Meryl gets to wear Snake's original costume as well. I'm really anxious to play this game again so I can get to my third file. I'll probably dust off my PSone and pop in MGS when I find the time to play it again.

a turbo controller really comes in handy if you don't wanna give into the torture. otherwise you betta have a fast thumb IMO.

A turbo controller? Ocelot said he'd know if you used one. I'm not sure if it's just to scare you or if he'd actually stop you from using one. Did you already try it, GunX?

I've also beaten the game twice and have gotten the tuxedo as well. Gray Fox's colors are just inverted, nothing special, but he does look pretty cool. I haven't looked at the tux much, since I've been using stealth camouflage. Honestly, though, the game's not as fun the third time with the special items.

i've used a third party turbo controller and ocelot didn't say shit. not even in russian. i think maybe if you used turbo controller made by sony themselves he might say something. not sure though, may be there just to scare you.

very interesting first time hearing that. well nothing happen to when i used it. the game just progress like i'm not using one.
