It's best to check your Radar so you know where he'll go next.

When Liquid hides under the tower, go out in the open where you can easily run back behind the crates, when he suddenly appear shoot him and run for cover. There will be a few Stinger Ammos in ther and a Ration if you go low on health.

It's all in a matter of Hit-And-Run. But more of a Shoot-and-Hide.

Actually to be perfectly honest with you, I've found the best tactic really is hit-and-run! Make him intimately acquainted with a Stinger or two, then get the hell out of the way of his wrath, cuz that just so happens to be a Russian Gunship, Hind D helicopter, and note on Gunships, they've very nasty guns and missiles, mainly cuz they have to have that stuff, otherwise they'd be like normal helicopters!

Of course, you have to hide from the bullets by running around the large square in the middle of the ceiling. When you can't see his read dot, then he is at the bottom (so you stay at the north side of the square). Sometimes he can shoot from the south-east (bottom right) diagonal and shoot you if you are dead center at the northern point of the square. So you stay at the top-left diagonal.

Before he bombs the southern part of the roof you can shoot him when he is flying around between bullet runs. But after you get him down to about half way, he always stays below the roof until he shoots and then he comes up. All the walkthroughs conveniently leave that important point out. You can't avoid his bullets here, because the only time you get a clear shot he is about to shoot.

So when he starts to do that, here is what you do. Stay next to the door a few steps back from the edge. When you see him on the nothern side and don't see him in the air, then he is below the building. Equip the stinger and you can track him through the floor of the ceiling when he is doing this. So follow him with the tracking on and every now and then he will start to rise up on the north side to shoot. (If you follow him, then you will see it coming). As soon as he is above the roof shoot the stinger. Then you have just enough time to run to the souther part of the large square.

This is the only way I have found to beat the guy without losing all 4 rations. I have heard that there is a part on the southern part of the roof where you can lie down flat and he can't hit you, but I have lied down all over that freakin roof and I think that is just b.s. Even if there is a spot, that doesn't change the fact that when he is getting low you will not be able to see him until he is just about to shoot. So you can't just dodge the bullets like all the online guys are saying. If you dodge the bullets, then you will never get a clear shot at him.

(I think they all use gameshark and don't say anything about it).

You use Stinger ground-to-air missles to destroy the Hind D. Everytime it comes up you shoot it and once your locked on with the Stinger, it isnt easy to miss
