The RX-78, Zeta and ZZ are your iconic UC suits. Its pretty common to see them and not Gundam X.

X needs a lot more love. It was an awesome show with some pretty good designs.

Back in the hubub of the FvsZ forum days, I described a game I wish was made.

God has a sense of humor, becuase Korea got it instead.




Anyhow, looking for more info on it. Found some places that can work translations for registering, so perhaps we can all play this online, given the comps meet the requirements (which I dont know yet), and we can get through reg'n.

The setting for that screenshot is the colony laser at Gryps, yes?

Figured I was right. I noticed the FvsZ style border and figured this game had a similar set up.

Hm. SD FvsZ... Makes me wanna see a SD Zeonic Front.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is awesome by the way. Check it out if you can. It just hit stores.

I should youtube for examples of DW Gundam where the player isn't just standing there twittling his giant mech thumbs. Demonstration videos are so lack luster these days.

The MS list is a bit touch and go. Battle Tactics was less into the variants, and more into the basic 'icon' type suits. It only went as far as the One Year War though (technically it dabbles with WITP, but only so far as unlocking the suits Alex, Kampfy, and Zaku Kai).

Battle Royale goes toward the end of Z. As with Lost War Chronicles and FvsZ/GvsZG, and EIS, you play as a nameless Joe/Jane of your creation, newtype or normy. As always, the big name stars of the series take part in some missions, as well as the player takes part in key event missions (IE: Jaburo drop). This one gets a little wacky with the extra suits, but the roster isn't too huge. Not bad either though. I don't have every suit yet, but here's what I got so far.

Some are duplicates, as you can capture suits from the other side after you clear the game.

Each suit can be 'leveled up' so to speak. As you clear missions with a suit, you gain tuning points for it. While there is a max cap that differs from suit to suit, there are still a great deal of space to boost up each suit's parameters. IE: The sluggish Full Armor Gundam can be tuned to the point where it's on par with the Zeta's standard speed.

Also, VG suits can transform, though the aiming system kinda sucks. Basically just use it to cross large distances really quick.

It's also fun to use the big bad suits like Psycho, especially considering it can punch an enemy suit pretty much across the map. Must have mastered the Bright slap.

Thanks, MacPhisto. I'm doing alright. That is, except for this nasty craving to feast on human brains.

If you have a PS3 theres a playable demo you can download for the PS3... the only problem is that you play as Wing Zero. Only enough he can't just kill everyone in one hit with the Twin Buster rifle. Which makes it seem unrealistic compared to the Tv series.
