General Discussion

Talk about any of the units in Starcraft: Brood War here. You can talk which unit is base ground, air, or whatever you like. Im making this thread to reduce the number of topics being started. Please use this thread from now on when you want to talk why a certain unit is good at something.

Oh ya know whats best about Seige Tanks, when your protoss and you own them! Its so cool to have like a dozen sieged tanks set up in my base and then use Recall and have them in the enemies base! Shitz so awesome!

Queens are evil. I was fighting this guys online and he sent like 6 of them out to turn half my army into little Zergling things. I was playing humans because I find the Protoss a bit cheap and easy.

Eh yeah same difference. I haven't played in over a year so I wouldn't be much of a challenge. I always wanted to play my good bud sinful_666 (an old mate of this forum back in the day) but we never did. We were supposed to play WC3 but haven't either.

Back on topic though who do you guys like better Battleships or the Protoss Ship (forgot the name its been so long but with all the little ships on it). Battleships rock until they are turned against you

Broodlings only last for about 2-5 minutes, because of an energy that they have. Their attacks are weaker and have a longer cooldown time. But hey, at least you destroyed a unit without even attacking it.
My favorite Unit is the Archon. I realize it has a little cooldown time, but an army of these has helped me in the past, espicially with outpost bases that don't have a Command Center/Hive/Nexus near them.

It's amazing how much shielding it has. I hate having them around Terran bases, because those Science Vessels get you every time. I would prefer a unit with high H.P and low shields, but I guess everything has to have a weakness.
I also like Valkyries, they are so cool in numbers. Valkyries and Siege Tanks, I consider to be a deadly force. I would also bring a couple of science vessels for cloaked units.

Why do you talk about strats of money maps.. I don't think that a person would go bc's unless they really need to..

I don't think it's possible to have 5489675469 bc's and afford to get 34589345 vessels when playing a low money map..
