I agree with that SSJ3 thing above me. It consumes montrous ki, and barely isn't effective in the most of situations when the opponent can just stall him off. I also agree with zeo_nanomus, Mystic Gohan really is underrrated by far when it comes to strength at the least. He owned Super Buu, and even put up a small fight with Fusion Buu, which was pretty spectacular seeing as how he hadn't trained in the last 7 or so years.


And I understand the movies are not canon, but I beleive Cooler was widely underrated as well. He even haf a 5th form, one that Frieza couldn't even accomplish. Yet Cooler was defeated by the SSJ even worse then his brother was. Although Roshi did mention at the begining of that movie that Goku seemed stronger.


I think Vegetto and Gogeta are also highly underrated characters. Gogeta only appeared in any kind of filler, and had basically served no purpose through out the entire Dragonball series.


Vegetto was actually a canon character, but he was only shown once and the power he showed us probably wasn't even half of what he could do.


Matter of fact the only thing in DB is consider overrated was most of the earlier enemies that was supposed to be unbeatable. Frieza and Cell for example. Frieza was stated above, no need to say him.

Cell was supposedly "holding back" against Goku in their fight. Yet that strength wasn't ever any different when he fought Gohan. And even so when he came back as Super Perfect Cell he could only take on about half of the power Gohan could emit from his hand.

I also think regeneration is overrated now that I think about it. It seemed like every villain after Cell could regenerate, and it seemed to be something that never learned how to counter until later on in the Buu series.

tien used it to take out master roshi in dragonball, but it didnt work.

i do agree that the solar flair is a great move

but i dont think vegitto is underrated at all, just because hes not in that many episodes doesnt make him underrated, everyone knows he was virtually unbeatable.

but still, everyone knows how strong he is. everyone loves vegito so hes not underrated. if anything hes overrated its not like hes stronger than ssj4 gogeta,

Part I dont get is why dont the bosses just run away from the spirit bomb since its so slow and not that big either.

I think that about every kind of hand laser move thingy. If the fighters are that fast and are able to dodge a punch in which you have 0.00001 seconds to react, surely they can dodge something that gives them 2 seconds to react?

Well if you are so strong that you don't need to dodge a blast, why waste your energy and dodge it anyway. I mean, you know it won't damage you.

Super Buu and SSJ 3 Gotenks fought evenly, Gotenks lost because the fusion wore off. Fusion Buu, or Gotenks Buu is pretty powerful though, he completely owned Mystic Gohan and SSJ 3 Goku. That's pretty impressive.

That's true, Gotenks was nothing more than a showboat. But he did attack Buu pretty severely from time to time, and Buu survived that without much suffering. And right before Gotenks' fusion wore off I can recall Buu having the upperhand in the fight. That's why I doubt Gotenks was so incredibly powerful.

But then Goku never really expected Super Buu to ever show up, he was pretty sure Gotenks could finish off the Fat Buu. They faced an opponennt that was a lot stronger than the one they were supposed to fight.
