Weird Racism

There appears to be this weird notion among the forums about the genetics of dragonball. Like the idea that "high-class" saiyans are genetically superior to "lower-class" saiyans when there is no actual evidence in the manga to support this. Goku, a prime example of the latter category constantly outdoes Vegeta,a prime example of the former category.
There is also this weird notion that saiyans are genetically superior to humans. The only advantage I would assign to the saiyan's is their transformations. Sure, they get zenkais, but those are effectively cancelled out by the greater gains made by humans through conventional training. Please don't say that is just plot induced, because zenkais are pretty much too. That is why Roshi stops training Goku before he does Krillin, I think. Saiyans learn through experience while humans learn through training. Which is to say the saiyans get powerful through an arc while humans catch up during time skips. The saiyans, as they were generally more main characters, simply got more chances to increase their power. I mean, all of the hybrids were more powerful than either species. Humans had to be bringing something to the table.
I just think its odd to identify more with the alien species in a story than with the humans. Maybe I was reading old posts, but this seems relatively prevalent.

Pretty much everything you've said is wrong. If Goku and Vegeta do the exact same training from when they were born Vegeta would be far stronger, it's Goku's exceptional training methods that put him ahead of Vegeta.

Humans are also among the weakest of the universe as shown by the fact they send Goku to destroy it.

Vegeta has always done more training than Goku. The Rost is a prime example. Goku, with about 8 months or training, created such a gap, that Vegeta not only failed at catching up with 2 turns in the Rost, 7 years later the gap hadnt changed...Vegeta has said more than once that Goku is a better genious, and the story shows who is the better saiyan.

Vegeta got an extra RoSaT trip and a Majin power up and still is a whole transformation below Goku.

It's not even close, Goku blows him out.

At the start of the series Vegeta is stronger.
After King Kai training Vegeta and Goku are about equal.
Up to the Namek Saga, Vegeta couldn't have trained because he was injured and just went to Namek straight away, Goku trains at 100 times gravity which makes him stronger.
Beginning of the Android saga, they both have trained for 3 years and Piccolo mentions Vegeta is stronger than Goku.
Before the Buu saga, Vegeta spends his time training Trunks while Goku was in the other world where he probably had nothing better to do than train.

Considering the fact that Vegeta flat-out states his total inferiority to Goku, it's safe to say Goku leaves him in the dust (except for when he was doing "normal" training). Vegeta basically sold his soul to close the gap...drastic measures.

Saiyan Saga Goku = Vegeta? Vegeta was > Goku while KKx3 Goku was >>> Vegeta.

Goku and Vegeta's potential is exactly the same.

maybe Vegeta didnt get trained by Master Roshi n Goku has more techniques n skills of many other chars in db,dbz n dbgt maybe thts how goku is more skillfull n he uses his brains too.... unlike vegeta just attack straight ahead without thinking....
