The joining of Good & Evil before caused good to suppress evil, but the joining of Good Buu and Evil Buu was just like a weak version of fusion. Good Buu + Evil Buu = Fat Buu (Angered to the point of splitting). Good Buu + Evil Buu =/= Super Buu (In terms of power). Good Buu + Evil Buu (slightly fusion-esque style) = Super Buu. Super Buu - Good Buu's inflluence and power = Kid Buu. I can't believe this topic is being brought up.

This way, we might be able to manage something. "We did it" refers to decreasing Buu's ki, which was their goal once they defused within Buu. They succeeded. Chapter: 509 (DBZ 315), P11.4-6 Context: Before Goku fights Buu Goku: "Alrii~~iight. I'd better go all out right from the start...! If we get done in, then the entire universe will go 'poof'..." Vegeta: "Let me see this 'Super Saiyan 3' thing with my own eyes..." Goku: "Is that alright? You just might not get your turn...I can say this now, but the truth is that with that fat Boo, I would have been able to defeat him at the time with Super Saiyan 3...However, I wanted the young guys to manage something...For the Earth's sake too..." Goku > Fat Buu, while before he states Super Buu > Goku. Chapter: 510 (DBZ 316), P13. Goku: "If I want to wipe him out, I gotta gather ki for about one minute." Gathering ki for a whole minute, but still possible to wipe out Kid but not Super. I dunno why I bothered but this is just so ridiculous.

	How does the anime suggest that Kid Buu is stronger? I never read the manga and I never thought for a moment that Kid Buu was stronger then Super Buu. And to be honest with DBZ Kai it actually is a lot closer to the manga. Most filler has been removed and the dub is comparable to what is said in the manga. Or you can just watch the original japanese version.

	^ IIRC; at some point during the Goku-Kid Buu clash it has Goku state that Kid Buu is twice as strong as any Buu incarnation before I believe. But it still has Goku claim inferiority compared to regular Super Buu, and it still has him claiming fusion as a prerequisite to win. This is one of the paradoxes I was getting at in my last post. The anime is a mess in that particular section of the Buu arc.
