Why didn't Vegeta take Nappa to Namek?

	Log in to remove this sponsored message If Vegeta had taken Nappa to Namek, he could've been a big help. He would have gotten a zenkai from his injuries from Goku, making him even stronger. I doubt Nappa would get strong enough to take out foes like Zarbon or Dodoria, but don't forget Vegeta teamed up with Gohan and Krillin too even though they were weak. I'm sure Nappa could have been useful at the very least. Not to mention he had his tail, Nappa could have transformed on Namek and stomped the crap out of anyone but the Ginyu Force and Frieza. Come to think of it, why did Nappa not transform on Earth? He would have destroyed Goku as a Great Ape. Vegeta killed him because he had become useless, but he could have been a big use to Vegeta still. I don't get it, it seems like a waste of a valuable Saiyan character.

	Cause Nappa got his ass kicked by Goku and Vegeta deemed him unworthy as a partner. I doubt Nappa would have made a huge difference, Krillin and Gohan (Guru potential unlocked) were far stronger than Nappa anyway, plus I never really saw a full moon on namek

	Gohan and Krillin were around 13,000 after the boost, that's really not that much. With one or two zenkais Nappa would surpass them easily. And no there's no moon on Namek, but that doesn't stop an elite Saiyan. That's what the artificial moon is for.

I think Krillin and Gohan were about equal, Gohan a little stronger when his rage spikes. Okay we don't know for sure, but it seemed that elite Saiyans knew the technique. Plus he has Vegeta with him so if necessary Vegeta could do it. That's my entire point, Nappa wasn't useless, not at all. When he calmed down, he ACTUALLY held his own against power level 8,000+ Goku. He has flaws, but he's definitely a good fighter.

	Nappa wouldn't live long enough to get a zenkai. Cui could kill him easily. Oozaru Nappa wouldn't do shit either. At best he could maybe take out Zarbon, and thats if he doesn't get his tail cut off. Any member of the Ginyu Force would speedblitz him. Also I think Gohan and Krillin were stronger considering they were far stronger than Guldo who had a 10,000 PL

	To keep it nice and simple; Vegeta just considered Nappa to be a pain in the ass really, after his rather dissapointing performance against Goku. And in any case; even if Nappa got a Zenkai from fighting Goku, it wouldn't do him any good against the likes of Dodoria and Zarbon. He would only slow Vegeta down. Edit: Jul 15, 12 11:17am

Zarbon thought Vegeta was a goner, but he still managed to survive. If Nappa came to Namek, his power level would be around 8,000-10,000 from his zenkai from the injuries on Earth, so if he fought Cui ofcourse he'd lose but he'd probably survive. Nappa in his transformed state, with an estimated power level of 80,000, 100,000 at most, would completely destroy Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon, Guldo, Recoome, Jeice, or Burter. 	Though they were far stronger than Nappa was when he fought Goku, which was around the 8k mark more or less.

	If Nappa recovered, his power level could have doubled. Plus who knows what kind of levels he could have reached on Namek. Vegeta had use for Nappa for years, since his childhood. I don't see why that suddenly had to change. Even if he's only useful in his monkey form, it should be cool because it can be used limitlessly.

	If Vegeta couldn't finish off the humans as a great ape, what makes you think Nappa, A weaker Saiyan could do it against much stronger enemies?

To be honest, I doubt the injuries Nappa sustained from Goku's Kaioken strike were anywhere near severe enough to warrant a Zenkai that would potentially double Nappa's battle power. Goku "only" beat him severely enough to the point that he could not fight any more any time soon, but he was nowhere near dying IIRC...

You're making it sound like he should have given Goku a run for his money, but Goku was more then twice as strong then him. And STILL, Nappa put up a good fight against him, Goku said it would take forever if he didn't use Kaioken. I'm pretty sure Goku ripped apart Nappa's spine, I don't know if that's near death but it's definitely a big injury. He was this much away from losing consciousness like Burter on Namek (who suffered almost the same attack). I do think his power level would have doubled at least. Nappa should be awfully close to the 8k mark in order to warrant Goku's statement. If Nappa was really only at 4k, meaning less than half of Goku's ki; he wouldn't have lasted that long. Nor would he force Goku to use Kaioken in order to insta-incapacitate him the way he did. 4k for Nappa doesn't work. Against the weaker Z-Senshi it works fine, but not against Goku.

	Nappa couldn't be that close to Goku either, because even his strongest blasts didn't put a dent in him. If Nappa was that close to Goku then Goku couldn't have taken his blast on the chest like that without so much as a rip in his clothes. Okay, yeah I just watched it again and I see what you mean. Nappa charged up and calmed down after that little part, and then when he fired a blast Goku acts as if that could have seriously injured him if he didn't counter it with a Kamehameha. So yeah that puts Nappa around 8,000, but that's only more reason why he would've been useful on Namek.
