	The kids can sense ki. They sensed Majin Vegeta and know he died. It's silly to think they would think they would win if they were weaker than fodder like Majin Vegeta.

	Base Gotenks Pre Rosat should be stronger than Majin Vegeta since he was able to survive fighting Buu. Vegeta wouldn't have been allowed to escape.

	Gotenks can sense ki. He knows Majin Vegeta failed with a suicidal attack that probably makes amplifier attacks look lol worthy. Thus , Gotenks should be far above Majin Vegeta . At minimum reasonably so to make any of it make sense. Considering the Kid / Ssj3 Goku > Fat > Evil > Good > Ssj2 Goku It appears Ssj3 should be much larger than a 4x boost. And considering Gohan's suggestion that Super Saiyan 2 Gohan > Initial Fat Buu > Ssj Gohan KHH > Ssj Gohan It seems that Super Saiyan 2 would be at least a 4x boost. Most of us agree that Ssj3 should most likely be a superior boost to Super Saiyan 2. But yea with the chain regarding Ssj2/3 and the Buu chart it seems Ssj3 is more. Also, if you figure the Base Gotenks chart of Super Saiyan Gotenks > SSJ3 Goku > Fat Buu > Base Gotenks > Ssj2 Goku It's just another factor that suggests that Ssj3 is larger as well. I have Ssj pegged at 10 x so Ssj3 seems to at least be comparable to Ssj based on the Gotenks / Goku scenario.

	Base Gotenks Post > SSJ Gotenks Pre > Ssj3 Goku As suggested by the characters themselves. Goku said Gotenks would be superior. No one seems to question it. Super Buu was said to be too much for Ssj Gotenks Pre which is why they went into the Rosat in the first place , Trunks thinks Base Gotenks can beat Super Buu , Goten agrees , Piccolo thinks Base Gotenks Post may have a chance whereas Ssj Gotenks Pre didn't have any chance. It's one of the most horrifyingly hazed chains in the whole series , but it's all right there. Sure it sucks but what can I do?

	Yea it's insane the gaP and most people don't go by it and say it was a gag or what not but if you go by the quotes that's how it should be unless toriyama was trolling us.

	Yea, it really does make a lot of sense. No one likes to see Goku get blown out, and no one like tremendous jumps in power, but they have happened before.

	Yea there's only a few issues now. Is Gotenks strength reflective of the boys power? How strong were the boys Pre Rosat? It feels as if they perhaps got nerfed or something. One of the questions that still puzzles me.
