Vegetto/Gogeta.

Ok, this topic seems to be everywhere..Might as well have another one..

Can base Vegetto take on Super Gogeta from movie 12?? I don't think so, thoughts?

If Goku and Vegeta are anime hax'd in movie 12? No.
If not? Probably yes.

Using 'Gokhan' as a comparison, Elder Kaioshin says that base Gokhan (potara) would probably be a lot stronger than Gotenks-Boo while Goku doesn't think a base Gokhan (somewhat stronger than Metamor fusion) would stand a chance against Gotenks-Boo.

All you have to do is swap 'Gokhan' for Gogeta and Vegetto and there you have it.

What's your logic for putting Super Gogeta close or on par with base Vegetto's power?

You are fine with the anime's portrayal of base Vegetto's power as well right? Buuhan getting smacked around by him.

My logic for Gogeta's power is I think Metamorian Gokhan = Gogeta, since Metamorian fusion is based on the weaker fighter's power...... Gohan would have to lower his power all the way down to (base) Goku's power to fuse with him.

Anyway, regarding metamorian Gokhan's power. When Elder Kaioshin told Goku about the porta Goku asked Elder Kaioshin if he should go 'Super Saiyan' to fuse with Gohan before he fights Buutenks. Elder Kaioshin told him no, and that if he goes Super Saiyan, make sure he does it after he fuses with Gohan or else he'll be stuck as a Super Saiyan forever. But then Elder Kaioshin told him Goku that BASE will be "plenty" powerful enough to beat Buutenks in...that's just how powerful Porta is.

So we know base Gokhan can stomp a mudhole in Buutenks, but base Metamorian Gokhan has no shot as Goku didnt even consider it.

But Goku also did not talk about turning 'Super Saiyan 2' or 'Super Saiyan 3' as Metamorian Gokhan, so this to me implies Super Saiyan Metamorian Gokhan (who again, should be = to Super Gogeta) is certainly powerful enougth to beat Buutenks.

I think the difference between porta and metamorian is basically an entire Super Saiyan transformation's worth of power.


Anyway, regarding base Vegetto, I go by the anime portrayal for him, I have him a bit ahead of Buuhan. So base Vegetto is no joke. Going by the metamorian Gokhan = Gogeta thing, Super Gogeta should be able to handle Buutenks, but can he bash around BUUHAN like base Vegetto did, i'm not sure about that now.

I think base Gokhan = Super Saiyan Metamorian Gokhan = Super Gogeta.

and I believe Vegetto > Gokhan in general.

Remember base Vegetto was beating the daylights out of Buuhan in the anime.

Base Vegetto is probably at least 1.33x SSjin 3 Gogeta considering Gohan-Boo flat-out stated that Son Goku and Vegeta would be no match for him even if they fused yet was extremely shocked when he sensed Base Vegetto.

Boo already knew it was possible for two people to fuse into a SSjin 3 (he saw Gotenks do it) so it's very likely that Base Vegetto completely blew out his expectations for SSjin 3 Gogeta.

The only thing we know Gogeta CAN do is beat Evil Boo, nothing more. Considering Son Goten and Chibi Trunks Pre-RoSaT were already on par with Teen Gohan, the gap between the kids and the adults should be very tiny Post-RoSaT.

Personally I go for something like this:

Gohan-Boo - 2.5
Base Vegetto - 2.4
SSjin 3 Gogeta - 1.375
SSjin 3 Gotenks - 1.25
Evil Boo - 1

I think the metamoran fusion has a rival boost, that's why I have Gogeta so much higher than Gotenks

Well, at least your not claiming that all this is fact. As long as all this is your opinion, and nothing more than that, is all good...But I don't agree with it of course.
