Ultimate Gohan vs Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta (Buu Saga) - Page 2

In terms of gaps I like to think of it as;

Goku- 1
Gotenks/Evil Boo- ~1.5
Gohan- 2/2.25

From a practical POV that works best imo. It means Goku can be no match for Evil Boo yet still 'relatively' close to Gohan.

Like Cocoman said, you don't need to be many times over a guy, for you to be able to stomp him...Gohan being 2-3x Goku seems like the best way to go.

This happens to be my main motivation not to adopt a 50x Super Saiyan boost in the Buu arc, Gotenks...

Given the already absurd power Gotenks possesses in his base state (easily comparable to the Super Saiyan 2's), then throwing a 50x boost on top of that would make his Super Saiyan state so strong, to the point that it gets ridiculous and frankly put; completely unnecessary. I think that the gap between Ultimate Gohan and SSJ3 Goku is also pretty big, but at least I keep it to a point where it stays reasonable.

At least, I think I do. Surely many will disagree, right skelter?

Super Saiyan doesn't really have an official multiplier that can be used for every single transformation either. The closest to official as you'll get is what the SEG mentions; a 2x boost for SSJ2 and a 4x boost for SSJ3. And the SSJ2 boost being at only 2x is already heavily disputed, I'd personally rather put it at 4x...

IMO i just multiplies. i have gohan at 12x of ssj3 goku and gotenks aat 8-9x of ssj3 goku

When you look at the gap between SSJ3 Gotenks and SSJ3 Goku the way it was suggested in the manga, and then add the even more powerful Ultimate Gohan on top of that. Now I suppose Super Saiyan 4 gives a pretty amazing boost, whatever that may be, but is it enough for Goku to close the gap between his SSJ3 state and Gohan's Ultimate form, never mind topping it. I doubt it, and if Goku can't surpass Gohan, then I don't see why Vegeta would. The GT SSJ4's would crush him though, that much was heavily implied at least...

But when you consider that Goku still thought him and Gohan were relatively close in terms of power...

Some people believe SSJ4 is a potential unlock: I don't personally, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

If Vegeta got massively, massively haxed from SSJ4, I think he'd be around SSJ/SSJ2 Gotenks (Post) or even somewhat close to Shin Buu. Thus, I think he'd crushed by Gohan.
