SSJ Gogeta should be able to do what SSJ Vegito did to Buuhan. Same beings, same power level, but different method. That's about it. And, rival boost is not exclusive to potara as implied by old kai.

I agree with rahully. I don't see why ssj gogeta can't beat gohan buu similar to the way vegito did. The only differences in the potara and fusion imo are that potara there is no silly dance, no equal pl's and permanent. Also the potara gets a rival boost. I don't think gogeta would get one, because the fusion dance was never suggested to get one. Now unless you think the potara is a massive boost from being rivals, ssj vegito shouldn't be multifolds ahead of ssj gogeta.

Hypothetical manga-Gogeta's power is largely a mystery. That's really all there is to it. The only hint on the subject is from an overly cocky villain who was so self-convinced of his absolute superiority that he insisted HE was still the strongest around even while Vegetto was effortlessly kicking his face in. Not exactly 100% trustworthy.

It was the same kind of thing with Freeza. "You would be the strongest in the universe, Super Saiyan, if not for m-OW, MY EVERYTHING." For all we know, Gogeta vs Boo would play out the same way.

Lol, so teen Gohan gets a rage boost but kid Gohan doesn't? You can mask it up as much as you want but that's basically what you're said. Do you realise that most of Gohan's rage boosts happened when he was a kid right? Do you realise that Goku tells Gohan to get angry like he did against cell of by which Gohan states that he is angry but not like back then, which implies that kid Gohans rage added power to his Ssj2?

Why not "Remember how you got angry at the budokai"?? Because he wasn't angry when he went Ssj2 at the budokai. And kid Gohans anger > teen Gohans anger based on this.

At the end of the day, you're opinion is exactly what it is, an opinion which goes against multiple statements. I've said before that it's your choice but don't ignore the fact that there're statements the contridict what you're saying.

Boo has Gotenk's power, that's it. Just because he has access to Gotenks power, that doesn't mean that Boo knows anything about fusion, or what Gotenks is thinking..

Seems your right, I checked the manga and the only thing that super buu gains from absorbing are power and techniques but not their memories. The only memories super buu has access is to fat buu.

There's no point in absorbing a foe's techniques as Boo is a fighting genius. I think he did use Piccolo's intelligence, but not to the extent of accessing their memories.

And yes, Boo does know about the Fusion Dance. It's implied.

Anyways, you guys ignoring Gohan-Boo's statement is plain silly. Why would he make a statement that says that somebody equal to Gogeta would give him a heck of a load of trouble and then state Gogeta wouldn't beat him? Boo may be cocky, but he's very careful about these things. Well, unless you want to use the Super Vegetto evidence against me which is plain silly as some people have been shown to mess up w/ Ki sensing. Yes, even Gohan and the Z Senshi.

Well, I have SSJ Vegito 10x stronger than Buuhan. IMO the gap between vegito and gogeta is at max 5x. So, even with 5x gap gogeta would 1 shot buuhan. Lets say I m more lenient. He will easily defeat buu in the same way vegito did.
