I don't think AT had consistant multipliers in mind when he wrote the story. I don't limit myself to such things. We have multiple examples of guys with small gaps tanking or surviving ki attacks without much damage. There's no consistancy to it. Clinging to set multipliers and being so rigid is pointless. I don't see why Cell couldn't be 3x Piccolo here and tank his attack.

Piccolo considers 2.2x KHH a joke. Now, lets say the amplification was 2.5-2.8x even then there is no way he would have tanked that blast. Hell, even with 2.8x amplification he would have trouble blocking it. Or if you think cell put up a barrier/ki shield which is pure conjecture as it's not shown, you seriously have no case.

In other instances, either the user put up some sort of defense such as barrier or the attack was less amplified.

Light Grenade > Any attack from Saiyan/ Android Arc.

Only attack which has higher amplification is Final Flash.

Fair enough. IF you consider 6x too high, then 5x should be fine (not that it would matter).

Tell me this - How big do you think the gap is between mssj goku and lssj broly? Semi cell and 16. I just wanna see your tanking gaps.

I have #16 at half Semi Cell, I think you need a two times gap or so to tank a physical blow like that without blocking. Broly on MSSJ Goku is hard cause it's Toei, he didn't budge so I'd say it's probably a 4'ish times gap.

I don't do PL's anymore, think it's pointless nowadays. Fun but pointless.

Now, here is the problem cooler.

You believe broly is only 4x stronger but KHH at that point of time is 3.5x amplified. Tanking a ki amplification attack is the biggest feat. Raditz vs Goku proves that you need a massive gap to be able to tank a ki amplification attack. KHH was weaker than raditz but the gap was more than 0.5x like you imply. Even then he had to put his ki as a defense to block KHH with his hands, and that's not even tanking.

Tanking > Deflecting > Blocking > Countering.

Contradiction?

Though, I agree with your gap between semi cell and 16. 2x is fine.

And, I meant 5x fresh piccolo. He wasn't that exhausted and still it wouldn't matter much.
