	IMO the kids aren't too far behind piccolo. Once they go into the rosat they leave him in the dust.

	It was just a random thought. I don't think Piccolo really rivals Gohan, but I still don't think the kids compare so highly to him either. Super Saiyan Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta are all up in a league of their own, even if Gohan's now lagging behind the other two. Even still, they have further depths of power (that being SSj2 and SSj3) which, any way you slice it, would make even Piccolo and Kaioshin seem like "trash" compared to them if anyone were capable of peeking at those depths. But this has all been debated many times before, so I'll leave it at that. The Majin Boo arc is a headache no matter which angle you're approaching it from.

Gohan first Turned super saiyan 2 against Cell..You thinking of anime filler....Anyway, Gohan was being trained by none other than Goku himself over a year span. The boys spent 6 and half days in there...How is this the same thing?

My bad, I must have been remembering about a anime scene. But still gohan inside ROSAT and outside ROSAT gohan has the same power, only that against cell gohan uses his rage to transform to SSJ2. Goten and trunks are both already accustomed to SSJ so they can train more than gohan when he started, since gohan needed to get used to SSJ. 	I have no problem with the boys surpassing Piccolo as SUPER SAIYANS after their Room of Spirit and time stint..But them having Ssj2 is just baseless conjecture. Hell, why not give them Ssj3 as well??

Since goten and trunks has trained as gotenks and turned SSJ2 and SSJ3 then goten and trunk should know how SSJ2 feels and know how to ascend to SSJ2 and not USSJ level. Gohan turned SSJ2 without anyone knowing that SSJ2 level existed, but goten and trunks both knows about SSJ2 so that is major advantage. As for SSJ3, goku clearly says that to use SSJ3 it takes many years just to use it and that is in otherworld which is easier. It's likewise entirely possible or even likely that Chi Chi made pancakes for breakfast in the morning before she, Goten, and Gohan left for the Tournament, and that Piccolo visited on his own way there so she squeezed some fresh orange juice for him. But we have zero evidence or indication that she actually did.

	Even though its true there is no evidence, we still can piece some information together to make sense. Discovering a new transformation is way harder to gain than knowing the transformation exist and knowing how to transform. 	Dude, there is no indication in the manga, the anime, the author, hell even the guidebooks, that the kids ever got close to having Super Saiyan 2....NOTHING..
