Agreed. They can't use Kaioshin ki to resurrect Buu. No one said that Buu can't absorb Kaioshin . The point being, Buu can use the Z fighters ki to resurrect Buu , but not Majin or Kaioshin ki. It points to there being a difference between the Z fighters and Kaioshins .

Agreed Skelter, the whole , " That's not logical " really has nothing to do with the poster's PoV and has more to do with the author's writing style.

Also, if Buu absorbed East Kaioshin , I'm sure it would resemble his traits, which is weak/ naive/ fearful. That would decrease Buus power by folds, not increase it...

Initial Fat Buu? Because that's where he should be. But this topic is about South Kaioshin not Fat Buu so I'm confused...

But yes, initial Fat Buu should be somewhere around Perfect Cell, probably a little bit stronger...

That's ridiculous. How are you in 2012 with Kid > Super? I just don't get it man. There's literally zero evidence for that.

Kaioshin implies that Boo absorbed Dai Kaioshin to gain a heart, which is exactly what the whole Disney movie Pinocchio was about. So if you take implications like that seriously, the manga provides us a reason as to why Boo absorbed Dai Kaioshin.

I tend to agree with p's logic here. I can see why people don't want Buff Boo to be that much stronger than Kid Boo because of South Kaioshin.

My opinion is that there are too strong of implications of Gotenks's power to follow that type of logic. Super Boo isn't that far off from SSJ3 Gotenks who should be on a far different level than SSJ3 Goku considering the difference in their SSJ power (I don't even need to say Base).

I kind of think of it as, what if Kid Boo scaled his power up from his Kid form to a huge buff form? You could get a huge difference in power.

The same could be said for Buff Boo absorbing Dai.

Bibbidi didn't have Boo under control until after he absorbed the Dai Kaioshin and was calmed down. So before that, Boo was probably just doing whatever the hell he wanted, and none of us will ever know (not that we'd want to) what the little psycho's thought process was like. He could have a kajillion different reasons for absorbing the Kaioshin, and none of them would make any more or less sense than any of the others.
