Why do people think Earthlings/Base Saiya-jins never surpassed 100%/50% Freeza? - Page 4

Yeah it's official in the commercialization of the manga. It is not at all written in the manga.

Can anyone actually prove that it's a real interview? I mean theres literally hundreds of fake AT interviews floating around.

That doesn't make any sense for obvious reasons, even if it's AT's opinion.

For one he'd tried 20x Kaio Ken against Frieza and it proved ineffective.

10x would actually be far weaker than what he'd used so far.

If it's 10x the 20x, that would make it a 200x increase, but that's also not very likely, as Frieza would have completely rape stomped him by this point.

I don't put a lot of stock in what present day AT says. Sometimes he forgets the names of characters, or he forgets entire fight scenes or story arcs. He's getting senile. The best source is the manga, and it's reasonable going by the manga that SSJ has to be superior to 20x Kaio Ken, probably more than twice so.

But that just goes for Namek. There's a lot of good reasons why it seems lower later that have already been covered here.

It's absolutely more than a 10x base boost on Namek though. It absolutely has to be.

The whole kili sequence means I just cant see SSJ being a 50x boost, not in the Buu saga for FPSSJ's. I don't see why Goku would be given a SSJ kili reading a few times that of his Base if in reality the intention was for his SSJ form to be 50x stronger still.

There's no reason at all to use anything but a 50x boost. The only reason people seem to use it is to make facts like Base Saiya-jins > Piccolo work and that's something that can be made to work perfectly with a 50x boost (see my or Victorious' battle powers lists.)

It's not "going against the creator." Toriyama was not trying to tell us, "don't believe what this book tells you! Super Saiyan is 10x base, not 50x! It's all a big lie! FIGHT THE POWER!" He was saying little more than, "oh well, I guess that's what it is," because Toriyama does not care about power levels. At most, he just takes a glance and approves big general things.

Then how would you explain the Freeza Goku fight? Goku base was 3 million. Freeza's 100 percent was stated at 120 Million. However many others on the form say it was 144 Million. Also when Goku used a KK x20 his power level was 60 Million on a small burst. 3 Million time a ssj boost x10 can't work. I just can't see it. The way I figured is if they had a lower base say like 20 Million in the cell saga. Than Goku max would be 1 Trillion. I'm not saying that Goku power level is that high. I know you can debate with me saying that after the Freeza saga that the boost dropped below that. But that really doesn't make much sense either. I'm trying to use what is stated and what is just idea. However after the Freeza saga almost everything is left up in the air cause AT didn't say what the multipliers. It wasn't till years later that he said it should've been lower. I'm not saying either is right or wrong. Its really just up to your view on how that works.

Kaboom if you can prove that ssj is not a 50x boost than I'll glad withdrawal my statement. Its just hard with the Freeza saga.
