Time to settle it. How strong are the boys?

I doubt that there will ever be a universal agreement on this. Some people go so far as to have the pre-ROSAT Base Kids stronger than Piccolo, whereas I have the post-ROSAT SSJ Kids weaker than Piccolo. There's not a lot of solid evidence (despite what people claim) so it seems unlikely that the issue will ever be completely settled.

When you say normal SSJ Vegeta, do you mean SSJ Vegeta after the ROSAT or before?

This, like Chibi Boo vs. Shin Boo, SSjin/SSjin 2 Son Gohan, etc will never be agreed upon no matter HOW many threads are made. But since I posted here I may as well post my current numbers on the kids: (and Piccolo for comparison)

I'm not going to go into the major aspects of why I disagree with those numbers, but just out of curiosity, why do you have Goten stronger than Trunks?

Two reasons. The first I'll admit is because I really dislike Chibi Trunks and I'm a huge Chibi Goku fanboy (and to an extent Son Goten.)

The second is that I just think for whatever reason Son Goten has greater potential than Trunks. I mean, I know Trunks was beyond a doubt stronger than him before the RoSaT and possibly still after. But for one Trunks is a whole year older and he trains by training with Vegeta in the gravity chamber (or at least that's what we're shown.) Meanwhile Son Goten got trained by weakling Chichi and for just one month he sparred with Son Gohan (when he wasn't busy teaching Videl.) Considering the small differences in their powers it just seems to me Goten's power grows faster.

Fair enough, I guess it doesn't really make any difference, as long as you keep the gaps between the two extremely small. I usually just refer to their power collectively, and list them as being equal seeing as how it doesn't really matter.

Well I personally think SSjin Goten and Trunks >>> Piccolo but it's for other reasons. Sleazy Freeza is write about the shocked expression thing. I honestly consider Base Goten and Trunks >= #18 to be a fact that I doubt I'll ever change my mind about (which is saying something as like p123 my opinions change like the wind) but I guess I can see how one would think otherwise about that too.
