Chibi Boo is easily the strongest character in Dragon Ball Z

I was wary of posting this, but after seeing topics about stuff like "Meta-Coola is at 700 billion" I guess it couldn't hurt. This theory is based on the Anime BTW. If you're a hardcore Manga supporter and refuse to accept/debate any Anime filler or Anime-only statements don't bother reading this.

While Chibi Boo's true power is uncertain in the Manga (given that it seems the only time he was truly serious was against the Genki Dama, which had unknown power) he was stated twice in the Anime, once by Goku and once by the omniscient narrator to be the strongest of the Boo's. Goku even said he was on a completely different level from all the other Boo's. So so far we have:

Chibi Boo >>> Boohan >=< Base Vegetto > Bootenks >>> Shin Boo >>> Aku Boo >=< Fat Boo > Good Boo

Now, during SSjin Vegetto's fight with Boohan, Boohan snaps from fury in an Anime filler segment and his power skyrockets madly. Vegetto actually has trouble overpowering him, despite the desperate situation at hand (Boo being about to destroy the universe) and only manages to do it when he pulls out his full SSjin power. Even then it's evident that Chaotic Boohan isn't that far below him.

But where did Boohan's sudden burst of power come from? Not once before it, nor after it has Boohan showcased anywhere near as much power. This rules out the fact that he was just holding back his power until then. After Vegetto punches him, he goes back to normal and seems to have no recollection of what just happened. Given how chaotic he was being and how even he didn't know what happened, it's likely that sudden burst of power was part of Chibi Boo's suppressed power and insanity coming out due to his immense frustration and rage.

Now, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that while Kaioshin explained who Chibi Boo was and how his absorptions suppressed his power and his complete mindless insanity to Rou Kaioshin, he never explained this to Goku or Vegeta. And even if he did, there's nothing to say that he made the connection to this when he stated that Chibi Boo was on a completely different level from all of the other Boo's.

Going by how when Vegetto suddenly defused, both Goku and Vegeta were well-aware of his thought process and why he got absorbed, it's safe to say they remembered the whole fight with Boohan, including that whole Chaotic Boohan incident. Since he likely didn't know that all that power was coming from Chibi Boo, he would've considered that Chaotic Boohan was nothing more than Boohan's full power.

So:

Chibi Boo >> SSjin Vegetto > Chaotic Boohan >>> Boohan

And funny how they hadd Buu struggle with Goku and yet he would one shot Vegeta when Buu could easily one shot Goku by this logic.

I dont see the point in debating the anime side of this... there are too many plot holes and inconsistencies that arent explained at all.

Goku beat the shit out of Chibi Boo and sent him flying into a cave wall, only for the smoke to clear revealing him lounging there and giggling. That's just the way he does things. At one point he was gawking and acting like he was shit-terrified of a Vegeta who was covered in blood, in his base form, and could barely stand up anymore. The only part where he truly struggled or was afraid was against the Genki Dama.

Well Super Janemba was much weaker than SSjin Gogeta, who is unlikely to be stronger than SSjin Vegetto. Also SSjin 3 Goku was almost even with him until Janemba pulled out his sword and the strain of SSjin 3 really got to him. He just couldn't compete with a guy who could regenerate, seemingly had infinite energy, could teleport around madly, and had a magical sword. That's just my view of it.

Personally I view the Anime being like Toei's own interpretation of the Manga. A few of the Anime-only things came from Toriyama's own suggestions (Yamucha's baseball career, Lunch's appearance during the Chibi Boo Genki Dama, etc) but for the most part it's Toei interpreting things the way they want. I think if you view the Anime Boo Arc as a parallel to Movie 13 it makes more sense. Even if Goku's completely unreasonable and retarded insistence on holding back his true SSjin 3 power for ages like that is a really stupid tactic on his part.

I read in one of the threads on this forum an idea that SSjin 3 Goku was suppressed against Fat Boo enough for Piccolo and co to not question his statement that he couldn't beat Fat Boo and I'd have to agree with that. Considering Fat Boo actually started doing better and better against him without any sign of powering up, I think the gap wasn't very big and Fat Boo was just slowly learning how to sense Ki and could keep up better and better (IMO.) Base Gotenks Post-RoSaT may have been close to this suppressed power, which would explain a lot IMHO.

Well I used to think SSjin 3 Goku too was stronger than SSjin Vegetto for a while but that really does contradict many things as people have pointed out to me. Mainly that he wanted to fuse against Bootenks and Boohan. And while he did better than Gohan against Bootenks he still got his arse kicked. So I'd say Chibi Boo held back against him too. All of Base Vegeta's clashes with Chibi Boo show just how much that guy likes to goof off and fool around with his opponents instead of just insta-pwning them. Goku even seemed to be very surprised when Chibi Boo took control of the Genki Dama, which required SSjin Goku's full power behind it at the end to finally beat him.

I think Base Goku > SSjin Gohan in the Boo Arc. I use a 5x multiplier like you (or like you used to?) and I've started using varying multipliers for SSjin 2. Mainly one small multiplier for Goku and Vegeta, the same one for Gohan, and an additional multiplier for enraged Gohan. I think that's the power that he used to beat Cell and it only comes out when he's really pissed off. Gohan seemed to be worried about Yakon, who was weaker than Base Goku presumably and even once said that they should step in to help Goku. Also Gohan had to go SSjin to train with the Z-Sword while Goku swung it around a few times in Base.

SSjin 2 Goku > Enraged SSjin 2 Gohan > Super Perfect Cell > SSjin Goku > SSjin 2 Gohan > Base Goku > SSjin Gohan > Base Gohan > Piccolo

Something like that maybe?

Some people believe Vegetto can't access higher forms but I don't think that's true personally. Gotenks managed to pull some bootleg, fake version of SSjin 3 out of his arse after one week of training and seeing Goku transform. Meanwhile Vegetto is composed of a guy who can go SSjin 2 and a guy who can go SSjin 3. Even if he couldn't go SSjin 3 initially I think he'd be able to eventually. So I guess what I should've said is that he is the strongest SHOWN character (much weaker than SSjin 2 and 3 Vegetto.)

GT Base Goku > Chibi Boo > SSjin Vegetto really gets ridiculous in any GT power levels list. Hence why I've given up on making one after I came up with this theory. I'm a huge Goku fanboy but even I find that uber insane.

In-universe explanation: Well nothing is really proving that Gotenks is that strong. Goku has no idea how strong they'll become if they fuse and he even said to Piccolo that it's a huge gamble. Goku said later on to Gohan that he'd show him how to go Super Saiya-jin 3. Considering Goten and Trunks are prodigies and the fact that they're even greater at that when fused, and the fact that Super Saiya-jin 3 is apparently something that can be quickly taught instead of something that one must train extremely hard towards, it's plausible that he had just hoped "well if they're not as strong hopefully they'll figure out how to go SSjin 3 too."

He also gave them two days and probably assumed Piccolo would just put them in the RoSaT if they needed that. And Piccolo finds every Ki to be incredible because he's weak as dog shit. He was so awestruck by Base Gotenks (Post-RoSaT) that he even thought they would defeat a guy who they couldn't even budge.

Out of universe explanation: I don't want to bloat the Anime SSjin 3 Goku multiplier even more.

Yeah, I honestly believe Vegetto is much stronger than Gogeta, but I was just pointing out that the "Potara is better in that it's permanent" thing could be used to argue that Metamorian fusion is more powerful.

Boo also thought that if Gohan and Goku fused they wouldn't be able to beat him so take his statements with a grain of salt.

In terms of Metamorian vs. Potara I think Base Vegetto is somewhere around SSjin Gogeta personally.

Well Oob is supposed to be at least as strong as Chibi Boo and Base Goku is equal to him. Thus goes to show how insanely haxed everyone in the series is.

SSjin Vegetto was overpowered by Chaotic Boohan until he used all of his power, and even then he struggled. And Chaotic Boohan was just some of Chibi Boo's suppressed power coming through. Chibi Boo was so incredibly powerful that Goku was willing to wait for 10 years just to spend years training his reincarnation just so he could have a fight with him.

10 years of non-stop training plus years of training Oob/sparring with him. Chibi Boo is definitely above Super Vegetto by my logic. Oob is at least equal to Chibi Boo and Base Goku is completely on par with that power.

GT Base Goku = Oob =< Chibi Boo > SSjin Vegetto > Chaotic Boohan

Also, Chibi Boo was stated in the Anime to be the strongest Boo. He was above the same Boohan who managed to make SSjin Vegetto fear for his life and have to use Instantaneous Movement to save himself. And Boohan is just a REALLY suppressed Chibi Boo with the power of Chou Gohan, Trunks, and Goten.

Piccolo said in the Japanese Dub in the Cell Arc "even Cell can't bring himself to kill a man like that." It's simply plot protection. He's like one of the very few named characters in the whole series to never die simply because he's a gag character and too pathetic and lovable to be killed.

He never even fought Mr. Boo, he probably forgot he even existed after they left the Kaioshin planet and parted ways. While Chibi Boo was very important to him, and he even trained his reincarnation. Goku never mentioned Vegetto, he simply said Bebi was the greatest power level he ever felt. For all we know he turned SSjin 3 once to show Oob and he was referring to that.

Are you talking about me? I'm one of the few whose "fanon" includes the Anime AND Dragon Ball GT. Dragon Ball GT is infinitely better than the "more official" Dragon Ball Online IMHO.

Either Freeza or Dodoria. In the end it doesn't really matter because it's because of Freeza that he died, but the "more official" manga explanation that Freeza did it himself is what works I guess.

He approved of it and didn't say anything about it not being canon. Thus it is up to each individual person to decide if it's canon for them or not.

And Kaboom I said in the first post of this thread that I was talking about the Anime and including Anime-only statements and Anime filler in my interpretation of the series. Whether or not it contradicts Manga statements or not. If anything that contradicts the Manga bothers you so much why even bother reading past the line where I said that?

Well as xxskelterxx said and I have pointed out many times, this thread is using events from the Anime. I'm not saying the Anime is superior to the manga in terms of how canon it is or that other people should or should not consider it canon. I'm simply saying that my interpretation is based on events and statements in the Anime, whether or not they contradict the manga.

Goku doesn't just go and say a power is the greatest power he's ever felt every time it happens.

I don't think Kid Goku is weaker than Adult Goku. Only SSjin 3 Goku because quite frankly his kid body can't even handle it for a minute so it makes sense that it could be a lot weaker to me. To be honest I just want to find ways to make this all work without going "well it's probably a retcon." I mean, for all we know you're right and Toei DID retcon their Anime Chibi Boo is god shenanigans, but personally I just try to make things work without that if possible you know?

Super Bebi Vegeta > Adult SSjin 3 Goku > Bebi Vegeta > Kid SSjin 3 Goku

Adult SSjin Goku = Kid SSjin Goku

Goku's pre-tail SSjin 3 shenanigans make it pretty damn hard to believe he could access his full power in SSjin 3 if you ask me.
