	Log in to remove this advertisement Ultimate/mystic gohan may be stronger than his own ssj2 but is not powerful enough to beat even a ssj2 goku .ultimate gohan couldnt beat broly but a ssj2 gokus power is enough to beat broly on his own

	What is it with these guys lately??? I swear, it seems the quality of posts has taken a dive lately...Gohan wasn't in his ultimate state when fought Broly..I have a feeling will fall on deaf ears.

And as skelter said; Gohan fought Broly in base form, he wasn't "Mystic" yet at that time. M10 takes place shortly after the Tenkaichi Budokai occured, so it isn't possible.

	Gohan gained the bulk of his new power after the Elder Greater Kai's ritual, not simply post Z Sword training. I believe Goku thinks Gohan surpassed his base form, sure, but it's not stated by how much. I hardly think it's possible to really leave that behind at this point. Goku had been undergoing the most strenuous training in the afterlife for seven full years. I severely doubt his less warrior-minded son surpassed that level in a short time by swinging around a heavy sword. Due to the implied power boost of SSJ3 I'd say Goku takes this one and without much effort. If it were that easy to beat a SSJ3, that would defeat the entire need for the form. Gohan with 100% of his potential could defeat SSJ3 Goku easily, I believe, but then again so could any Saiyan-Human hybrid with the same powerup. ------------------- Remember Redoran. Never forget.

	exactly. I like the point pilaf made, Gohan I don't think got much stornger at all from swinging a sword around for less than 24 hours on the kai planet... Vegeta and Goku were quite bit stronger then Gohan b4 the sword. So honestly I think SSJ2 vegeta would beat post z sword Gohan. And honestly I thnk it was only a few hours since Gohan had to wait for the old Kai for quite a few hours to do his ritual and all of this stuff in the Buu saga happened in about 24 hours maybe a little longer. So I don't think Gohan got much of a boost at all honestly...
