Would Dabura's spit work on Buu? How about Cell?

Well in DBM Dabura spits on Cell and Cell just rips hi head off. However due to the way the match had already gone Dabura was done after that spit so If Dabura was okay and could spit again its possible he couldve beat cell. (And buu likewise.)

However you have to factor in Speed. And both Cell and Buu are much faster.

It should if it connects I guess. I always wondered why he didn't spit on Buu when he had somewhat of a chance, rather than chucking that silly spear of his at him.

An interesting thing about Dabra's spit is that it lands on Piccolo's clothes and is able to turn his whole body into stone while it hits Gohan's clothes yet, Gohan is able to rip them off in time. Perhaps Gohan witnessing Dabra spit on Krillen and Piccolo aided him in his ability to survive the spit.


Also on another note. If Piccolo could be turned into stone I guess Cell could as well. Buu is a different story altogether though, so many differing possibilities.


But I don't think regenerative abilities help somehow here. Boo being a magical being may be able to combat that with something else but IMO Spit > Regeneration.


The thing is, even if they are stone are they really dead? No, as we can see when Dabra dies, Piccolo and Krillen are returned to life. Much like Cell, Piccolo's body is in pieces yet he can regenerate back to normal.



With Cell and Boo this becomes every increasingly difficult to kill them even with the spit. Say for instance, Dabra spits on them and they are turned to stone. Next Dabra uses a huge blasts that destroys the stone.


Problem is, the same rules should apply. Cell needs to be killed down to the last cell as well as Boo. Both need to be completely disintegrated.


So perhaps Dabra's blast doesn't fully destroy everything and one crumb is left of the stone, technically if Dabra was killed, they could regenerate from that.


So there are a lot of issues. That's an interesting plot point not for nothing. Perhaps a hero having the spit power and spitting on an evil being who no one could stop. The hero finally dies one day and the evil monster is re awoken.

Cell will do something similar, he'll rip off his limb or whatever before the spit spreads throughout his whole body and try and regenerate the lost limb.
