Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Baby arc) was stated by Elder Kaioshin to be the strongest fighter he ever saw, and he also saw Vegito in action. Omega Shenron manhandled a "limits surpassed" SSJ4 Goku from the Shadow Dragon arc, who is far and away superior to his Baby arc self, meaning Vegito would be roadkill. He wouldn't survive for 30 seconds if Omega attacked him all out, if even that...

He could be right though rocky, considering the possibility that Goku also included the fusions he was involved in when he stated that second form Baby possessed the highest ki level he ever sensed. This was said in the original version btw, the Funimation quote is much less clear on this.

Once Goku reached SSJ4 I've always presumed it > Super Vegito's strength. That said, going with Omega.

"Full power Super Saiyan" is not a separate Super Saiyan form, it is however the ordinary, traditional Super Saiyan state optimized to the fullest. We know Goku reached "FPSSJ" in the ROSAT, Vegeta probably reached it during the 7 years of peace in between Cell and Majin Buu, so it's more than likely that Vegito was also a "FPSSJ", even if Goku was the only of the two to have reached it...

There is no room for any such debate, as Vegito clearly displayed SSJ characteristics and not a single SSJ2 trait. As for whether Vegito could go SSJ2 (and SSJ3), I don't see why not, he just didn't have to.

Anime-wise there is a sequence where he would have been better of using it; and that against that barrier Buu created that Vegito needed pretty much all his power against to break it. That was IIRC the only instance where Vegito needed to go all out to repell one of Buu's attacks, a non canonical one btw, just for the record. That barrier scene is not in the manga. But in any case, a SSJ2 Vegito would have plowed through that barrier with intense ease in all likelihood, even if SSJ2 only doubled his already massive ki...

There's no point in humoring things that can't be proved, one way or the other. We go with what we know - that he appeared to be SSJ.

this is about right.. thought I still maintain with his potential ssj2 and ssj3 vegito could get through most of GT up untill omega.. maybe equal to syn on his own as a ssj3 or so
