	Log in to remove this sponsored message Just thought I'd pull one out of the old box. From past debates I recall that opinions were mostly split on this one. Some say Picclo backed out of the fight with Kaioshin because realizing who Kaioshin was, others think it had to do with power, and there are also some (like me), who feel that's it's a combination of both... Just FYI; in several of these past debates I've brought up Kaioshin's biography from the Daizenshuu's and how it "confirms" that he's stronger than Piccolo. Now I've recently stumbled upon a site that transated a good chunk of the 7th Daizenshuu (which includes character bio's), and here's what Kaioshin's is like: quote 界王神(東の界王神) Kaioushin (Higashi no Kaioushin) Kaioushin (East Kaioushin) Currently, he is the Kami that stands above all the other Kami throughout the world. [His.]Starting with the Dai Kaioushin, four Kaioushin were absorbed or killed by Majin Boo, whom Madoushi Bibbidi had created, but one survived. After Majin Boo was revived by Madoushi Bibbidi's son, Bobbidi, he fused with his attendant, Kibito, via the Potara and was unable to return to his original form. [Fir.] Chapter 437 [Par.] Despite his small stature and apparent weakness, he gives off signs that he hides great power. He combines a very serious personality with an overly self-conscious face. He also has telepathic abilities, and is able to converse with people over long distances. Originally, five Kaioushin existed, but the one who is currently remaining and stands as the greatest deity is only he, who supervises the East area, and his attendant, Kibito. (Daizenshuu 2, Page 176) [Tech.] Kiaihou, Kanashibari, etc [Bat.] His strength far surpasses the Super Namekkian Piccolo's, but among the original five Kaioushin, he was weakest. He was beaten up by both Majin Boo pre-revival and Majin Boo post-revival. There were times when he was dangerously close to dying. [Ten.] He took the name Shin to conceal his identity as Kaioushin and entered the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. Broke through the preliminaries. In the first round of the actual event, he beat Piccolo by default. Look at the bolded/underlined part in particular. Of course this comes down to whether or not you accept the Dai's or not, but given how the manga does not contradict this statement, it's valid in my opinion, and as such, I agree that Kaioshin would destroy Piccolo in all likelihood. Based on the combination of evidence the Dai's and the manga provide us with. Thoughts?

	This isn't really much of a contest. Piccolo said himself that Kaioshin was much greater than him, and the Daiz backs that up. But that won't change the fact that you have some guys who claim Piccolo was only afraid to fight him "out of respect" or something. ------------------- youtube.com/dasavage68 Visit or else.

	Yeah i think Piccolo is weaker than Supreme Kai as well. I dont think its by a huge margin though like the Dai's suggest. I wouldn't think Piccolo would get one shotted by him or anything. ------------------- The only way I'll talk is through slow and painful torture, and I don't think you got the grapes

	^Also, Piccolo was easily able to handle Babidi but it seemed like Kaioshin had doubts about being able to easily defeat Babidi. -------------------

	^Babidi did mention that he had Dabura to back him up when he was talking about fighting Kaioshin so I think it would have been a sort of 2v2 match where Dabura would be helping to cover Babidi against Kaioshin. I suppose that doesn't really tell us anything about Kaioshin vs. Piccolo. -------------------

	vegeta statements about the kai when he gets spit on by dabura also are a question mark... his statement is more that he was off guard than way too weak... piccolo is definitely nowhere in dabura's pl..

	All i know is that he is stronger then Freeza. Kaioshin stated that the reason Picolo forfeited is because he started to realize who he was.No one was abel to sense how strong Kibito or Kaioshin were and so logiclly Piccolo wouldn't either. All Piccolo knew is that the Kaioshin is a GOD and since Piccolo is a god of lower status he needs to respect a much higher god.When Piccolo said that their powers are dimensions apart it could just be because he didn't want Goku to fight him so he lyed to Goku.He did told Goku that he must not fight him. As for this Daiz stuff they could be going by what Piccolo said about the Kaisohin. Anyways i don't care what they say since they do say a lot of ridiculous stuff in that book...like...hmmm.... Reccome killed Gohan and Vegeta yeah right. -------------------

I have been told by people knowledgeable in Japanese that the way Piccolo described Kaioshin was similar to Tien saying that Super Saiyan Goku was in a whole different league than him power wise, but I don't recall Piccolo flat-out stating Kaioshin was stronger than him. But I agree that he is nontheless. Depending on how you interpret that statement of his, Piccolo even stated that the Saiyan squirts were their only hope left with the grown up Saiyans all dead/gone. I take that in the most literal sense personally, and thus I'd put Piccolo below the Super Saiyan boys. Pre-ROSAT, even...

Oh I know it was magic that let him do that, is this thread refering only to a physical battle with ki no magic? If thats the case then its harder to call as East Kai did virtually nothing, all we know is that he's a good deal weaker than MSSJ Gohan and so is Piccolo.
