Bibidi, he created Majin Buu....whereas Babidi was a useless piece of thrash.

Perhaps, it was never stated that he could or could not, the only thing we know is that Babidi's magic exceeds that of his father's, so if Bibidi could control people's minds, then not to the same degree Babidi could. Vegeta for example, he would never be able to control, as even Babidi's spell was not able to completely enslave Vegeta. Vegeta could easily "disregard" a similar, though considerably weaker type of spell IMO...

As for this fight, I guess you could say Bibidi had more control over Buu and use that as an argument, but who knows how he managed to acquire that control. In terms of physcal power it's impossible to accurately point out a winner, though if would be a fight with magic involved, Babidi would easily triumph...

I think the fact that Bibidi created Boo allowed Bibidi to control Boo better since he knew what made Boo tick. Babidi had no idea what to expect when Boo hatched so all he had was the blackmail of putting Boo back into his ball, which eventually pissed off Boo after Boo realized he could prevent himself from being bossed around as he matured.

I dunno infamous, was it really stated somewhere that Bibidi had control over Buu? I don't believe so. And it doesn't show much either, as Buu relentlessly attacked the Kaioshin and it wasn't until after Buu absorbed Dai Kaioshin and had calmed down that Bididi was able to seal him in that ball, he never did it by himself, so for all we know Bidibi couldn't control Buu either. Something I believe was stated now that I think about it...

Kaioshin actually says Boo was "uncontrollable and a failure" when he was going over the history while he was reverting. So, Bibidi's control wasn't much of anything.

And yeah, Bobbidi wins. He stated he has "far more magical power" than his father, Bibidi, anyway.

The reason I was suspecting Bibidi had more control on Boo was because Bibidi wasnt even killed by Boo but by Kaioshin, and we saw that Babidi only lasted a few days before Boo killed him. Also, Babidi seemed to have no idea how to control Boo since he had no idea what the heck was gonna come out of that ball other than it was his Dad's creation and he could seal him back up with a spell. Although, it is just as likely that Bibidi had just as hard of a time controlling Boo as Babidi did as it is that Bibidi could control him better since he created him and knew how he worked.

I dont think we know enough of Bibidi to really say.
But babidi did to hell of a job making buu into this ridiculous bad guy.

Yeah, and that's the reason why Buu was literally referred to as a failure that Bididi himself couldn't control. It was only a matter of time Buu would have killed him as well. Anyway, I don't see how this would make Bididi the victor in a fight with his son, even if he could control Buu better, then what would do that against Babidi? It doesn't make him more powerful and it was stated Babidi had stronger magic, so the latter would be the odds on favorite for me in a fight...

This can't really be contested as we have not seen Bibidi in action at all. "Control" over Buu meant nothing since he did create him and that was Buu before becoming diluted. Who knows, maybe Babidi would be able to control Kid Buu too... Or maybe not, whatever.

The fact that Bibidi was able to create something as powerful as buu leads me to believe that that is enough evidence alone that he would be able to defeat his son. Babadi couldn't create such a beast and went after his fathers. So in a fight to death, i think Bibidi wins.

I don't understand that reasoning at all...."Bididi created Buu, so he would beat his son". I mean, based on what? Does being able to create Majin Buu make him stronger or something? Nothing like that was ever suggested. The facts we do have point in Babidi's favor to be honest, his magic would easily be enough to dispose of his father. He is evil after all, so Babidi can simply possess him, and blow him up like he did with Spopovitch when he had no more need for him...
