Yamcha(Saiyan saga) Vs Raditz and Saibamen

Well since 1 Saibaman killed him I'd say no.

I think you must be confused he means Yamcha that fought the Saibaman he would be be able to defeat Raditz at this point in time and he only lost to the Saibaman because he got caught off guard iirc but I don't know if he could defeat both of them together.

IIRC, Yamcha was actually more powerful than that Saibaman was, he completely pwned it. The only reason he died was as Mishimi said before, he didn't finish the job, and got screwed over by his own cockyness. Power wise, Yamcha is stronger than both Raditz and Saibaman, since they latter two are equals PL wise...

As for who would win, well, Yamcha was not able to put the Saibaman away with the Kamehameha, so against both Saibaman and Raditz, I think he's screwed tbh. Yamcha goes down.

Yamcha likes the occasional bluff, so he's one of the characters who's word I usually take with a grain of salt. Besides, that Saibaman survived a Kamehameha, surely Yamcha can't be too much stronger, his overconfidence most likely led to him underestimating the Saibamen...

true, but this was also the only arc where Krillin was useful keep in mind. after the saiyan saga, its for the most part only Goku and Gohan that are all that useful. Vegeta and Piccolo too, but less so.

All of the humans were scouted by Nappa to be around 1,000-1,100 or so.... But Yamcha was never scouted IIRC, as he was the last to arrive, and Nappa didn't bother with it since Vegeta said they can amplify their PL by concentrating their ki....

So Yamchas PL we do not know, unless I am forgetting him being scouted....

Krillin IIRC, was scouted to be 1,000 or 1,100 himself, so his concentrated ki techniques would grow more powerful han 1,200, so it is understandable how he destroyed most of them with his raining ki shower move...

Yamcha may not have put all of his ki into the Kame though eother... Because if Kame at it's strongest at that point is x2.2 amplified, even if Yamcha was at 600 in PL, a fully powered Kame would make his attack equal a PL of over 1,300... 1,320 to be exact..... I would like to think Yamcha was stronger than 400-500 and even 600 as all the others reached to at least 1,000... Except for maybe Chazou, but he has always been the weakest, even weaker than Yamcha.... So I dunno....

Yamcha may actually have a chance if he went all out and was serious... I think he more or less was to cocky and underestimated the Saibaman, and the fact they did not know the Saibamen could sefl destruct caught them and Yamcha by surprise....

So maybe lil ol Yamy could do some damage if he was serious and on guard instead of cocky and half assin it... LOL

Perhaps.... Aside from the who got scouted thing I was iffy on, I know about all the other stuff, but the Kamehameha thing is speculation on both of our parts, so who knows.... Physical hand to hand combat wise, Yamcha did seem to go all out... My half assin it remark had to do with the Kame, which we don't know if he can get the same multiplier as Goku or not.... The fact the humans could go from low hundreds to the thousands in one year would be enough speculative proof for anyone to say, sure Yamcha could have trained enough to have gotten it to a x2.2 increase like Goku did against Raditz...

So much extinuating info like this which the manga never covers.... So it is all here say really.... To bad Nappa didn't scout Yami Kame and state how powerful it was.... But I suppose that wouldn't have done any good, we know by the circumstances themselves that his Kame was not strong enough to surpass 1,200.... So it still wouldnt have answered whether or not he used all of his ki in the attack or not...


Also I am not so sure Krillin, Yamcha, or Tien were supressed.... Piccolo and Gohan maybe, but I don't recall any of them powering up to release more ki. Vegeta just merely said that it is a possibility they were supressed....

Of course when they landed on Namek, Krillin and Gohan were shown to release their supressed ki without actually giving off an aura and powering up with grunts and whatnot... LOL... Unless that is filler, then I suppose they could have done so against Nappa as well..... But I don't think the likes of Krillin would be supressed by very much if he was already in the low thousand mark when Nappa scouted him.... Krillin's full power being at 2,000+? I have a hard time seeing that....
