Does anyone know that music that plays when Vegeta tells his story when he first turns Super Saiyan?

C17 and C18's mechanical upgrades are why..... It's not so much that they don't operate on ki, but rather Gero's upgrades enabled them to permanentley hide their ki from detection even while going all out at full power in a fight.....

Some people speculate that all of Geros creations except for Cell operate on a completely different energy source non related to ki..... But I am not so sure of that..... For that to be the case, models like him and 19 would need to absorb ki blasts then convert that energy into whatever energy source they would supposedly operate on.... Which is possible, but I think it's a lil to convoluted and vague, even when talking about a human mad scientist who created technology that > someone like Freezas strength....

It's implied that 17 and 18 were normal teenagers before becoming cyborgs. Their human ki level would never logically have been much more than 5 or so. I believe they're running off some sort of perpetual energy battery of Gero's design which also has a jamming effect, making it difficult or impossible for ki sensing warriors to detect the signal. I doubt the upgrades actually raised their biological ki levels the way training or magic would. Instead, the battery and metal exoskeletons would have replaced that type of ki manipulation.


In 19 and 20's case, most of those bodies are completely mechanical. Only 20's brain was once human, belonging of course to Dr. Gero. The brain itself would have a negligible amount of ki and its only purpose was Gero's attempt at immortality. They likely ran off a similar ki battery to 17 and 18 although an older model that needed to be recharged.


It's a shame Gero's secrets for hiding ki signals died with him. That could have been extremely useful later on in the series against Buu or similar beings who could detect ki.

If you're talking about Bruce Faulconer's dub music, then it's definitely either Vegeta's theme or his SSJ theme. Both awesome songs!

Has anybody ever wondered just were the hell is the Demon realm that Dabura comes from? I mean, It's something mentioned, but that's it. Does the Daizenshuu talk about it at all?

The Makaio/Demon Realm is on the very bottom of the globe.

Toriyama said in the Super Exciting Guide that the Makaioshin (delinquent Kaioshins basically) live and rule over the Demon Realm, however Dabra probably isn't a Makaioshin since Toriyama said East Kaioshin is stronger than him/them.

He might just be some demon prodigy who surpassed the gods in his world, like Goku and co did in theirs.

We might have seen the Demon Realm in the manga/Anime. It stands to reason that if they were sent to Pui-Pui's home to give him an advantage for his fight, and Yakon's home to give him an advantage for his fight, then they were sent to the Demon Realm for Dabra's fight.

As it stands that's just speculation though.

Right before Freiza kills Vegeta; What I don't understand is what's with Goku having that blue aura surrounding him when he was walking up to Frieza in his base form? He never ever had it again after that. lol, was it just dramatic effect or something?
