re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

I think I've found Lizer's spot. He spends his time cleaning up after his family, if you know what I mean. And if that means working with the chains he does.
In other words, he is a character who's only with the Chains if their enemies intersect(ex: Qoyul). At least until his family problems are done.

it's not dying, it's just that you and Weldar have no experience in Final Fantasy.

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

I don't know, I'm guessing a minimum of 2 pages.

Murray:

Pros:
-great projectile
-a counter move
-great recovery
-able to rack up damage with several drill kick-like moves
-up-B has great range
-higher than average speed
-prat-fakes (pretends to trip), allowing him to catch his opponents off guard

Cons:
-slow up-B means he can be edge-guarded easily
-up-B and B are very unreliable
-if attacked after or while using up-B he can't use it again until Yellow is off the screen
-other than his special move and smash attacks he has no KOing technuiques, especially in the air
-down-B is only slightly more reliable than a side-step
-prat-fakes can be confusing to the user as well

Yellow's pros and cons are similair except his Down-B is more reliable and is light-weight, faster and more reliable, but has weaker attacks in general.

Zeld:

Pros:
-A variety of KO moves
-good Air game
-great horizontal recovery with his high floatiness and second jump
-A projectile 1-hit-KO move
-reasonably fast especially in mid-air
-strong throws
-up-B is unpredictable
-down-B reflects projectiles and by holding a direction they can be aimed elsewhere, also it can't be broken like others

Cons:
-Floaty, easily comboed
-side-B may explode unexpectedly if charged too long
-B takes an abnormally HUGE time to charge
-up-B can be followed by jumping into his portal, which is quite slow
-aerial dodge stops vertical height, sometimes good but very situational
-B hurts players on his own team, so holding them still while he attacks is not an option
-gets VERY stale, his forward smash, starting at 22% uncharged, goes down to as low as 8%

(sorry if I made any changes you wouldn't like)

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

I like it, my character seemed a little over powered.

And the story isn't dying, it's just that not many people know alot about Final Fantasy, and I, who knows the most about it, is not a great writer since the format change from script to paragraphs.

Lizer, I finally got around to reading your trailer, and it's good. So, only Weldar, Zeld, Yellow, and Bro survived( Zeld survived because at one point a robot thrust it's arm through him and threw him into a pool of Phazon and he survived, plus when he is mortally injured he turns into Phazon Zeld and goes on a rampage and heals.

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

In case you didn't notice, I didn't show many characters actually dying, other than Gangey and Nemarca. Maybe not even Gangey. The rest is just speculation.
Oh, and you skipped Sheila in your list of the living. I'm not trying to prove you wrong, just saying I don't want you guys to think I want you dead.
The movies aren't actually going to be part of the story are they? Because that would suck if it ended right after I got here.
Can I start posting Lizer's background now?

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

Summary?
Foxy hasn't been on in a week, hope he hasn't quit again.
Lizer, I really liked your back-story, you need to write like that more! I've tried my hand at writing deeply, twice, the first time unintentionally but during a recent re-read I noticed how good it was.
The second one was the one I just did, not as good as the first, not to say the first was very good, they were both featured Gangey prominently.

Weldar:

Pros:
-slightly higher than average weight
-good at trapping enemies with his B
-long range and attack with gloves
-down-B is hard to DI out of, sometimes even without gloves
-up-B is quite high
-sweet-spots the ledge at all parts of his up-B
-down-B, although it you can't grab ledges while doing it is superb for horiznotal recovery and is hard to edgeguard with gloves
-has a spike and a meteor smash
-fisty-cides are considered one of the greatest edge-guards as they are hard to break out of and in high-bottomed stages are almost certain KOs unless at very low %s
-somewhat speedy
-dair is a meteor smash with more range than any other if gloved
-nair is long ranged (gloves fly around him)
-bair and fair start exactly alike and only one uses his gloves thus making it unpredicable (he extends his arms before shouldering backwards or punching with both)
-bair is also a finisher that doesn't require gloves so it can be mixed in with his B
-up-smash can be set as a trap (the hands clap above him, he doesn't move while this happens and can go off on his own before it finishes) or otherwise an effective meteor trap if he has team-mates as he requires gloves for his meteors to be most effective

Cons:

-up-B is easily edge-guarded due to low-ish speed and no attack until the very end
-up-B's attack, although powerful, is very situational
-using B isn't so practical as it leaves Weldar's smash attacks glove-less and weaker and unable to KO at percentages below 110
-some characters can easily destroy his gloves
-if an attack with high-knockback hits the gloves they can be KOd almost instantly
-at percents above 80, smash attacks, or other high knockback attacks will cause him to drop both gloves leaving them to be destroyed quickly
-if one glove has just returned but you attack with the opposite hand Weldar won't always use the right fist, sometimes useful
-up-B is half as powerful with one-hand and useless with two
-his nair, B, side-B and up-B require gloves and his up-smash requires two!

That was a long one, but that's what you get for having a special ability, which reminds me of my Geno moveset who fires his actual arms and even head as attacks

Murray:

Taunts:

^: pulls out a sandwhich... Then proceeds to eat it, sometimes pulls out a cactus, Gangey's will, a key, a TV, a chunk of Kivvi's telporter or a fire hydrant but proceeds to eat them anyway as well

</>: grabs his foot and attempts to use it as a phone, failing he chews on it

V: jumps high into the air, this does not affect game-play as he instantly re-appears, crashing into the ground with a huge explosion that ironically does absolutely nothing

Stage entrance: flies in on a cake cruiser then eats it

victory 1: licks the screen, then crosses out the word winner with a marker and writes BBQ

victory 2: runs head-first into the screen but is then distracted by a penny

victory 3: acts serious and reads a book with glasses, turns the page and keeps reading (rarest)

secret victory: (shared with Yellow) If Gangey was in the battle and came last Murray can be seen harrasing him before Gangey punches him into the screen

A-A-A: Slaps pittifully before him

A^smash: Punches upwards fast, attacks characters in front and above but not behind

A>smash: acts as if he's going to do his up smash then interrupts by headbutting

Avsmash: Jumps, spinning, then kicks the ground, hard, charing causes him to keep spinning until the charge releases, causing him to humerously stay in mid-air.

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

Zeld:

enterance: Comes out a portal bloody and drinks some blue potion.

win1: looks to the side and runs off with sword in hand.

win2: Make sword float above his hand

win3: A energy ball misses him and hits the person in fourth and Zeld runs at the screen and it turns dark.

secret win: If Bro fought he comes up and stands by Zeld

Lose: Zeld charges an energy ball, If bro fought he stops Zeld from shooting it, if not the winner gets hit and the screen turns black( doesn't shoot till their winning taunt is done.

Secret lose: If Bro won he goes and stands by him

All of Zeld's A attacks are like Link's

Grab: uses magic to freeze them

Throw^: puts his hands on the ground and there's a explosion sending the frozen person into the air

throw>: Sends out a wave of energy that throws the enemy to the side

throwV: jumps and kicks down making the person hit the ground hard and fly upwards

re: NEMM glossary/page 3: bios

wait, your character can't freeze, only Bro (and Link) can, intead have it that he sucks the enemy in with dark magic which binds them, you also forgot a back throw

Yellow:

Yellow almost never uses his legs as they are incredibly short and fragile, instead his move set mostly consists of tackles

A-A-A: he slaps with his wings, one after the other, rather pathetic

A>tilt: flips, his body knocks into enemies

Avtilt: spins upside down on the floor, his wings tripping enemies

A^: jumps, actually quite evasive

A>dash: spins, hits multiple times

A>smash: turns sideways so he looks like a dagger, then pokes forward

Avsmash: slams himself into the ground three times

A^smash: crouches down before jumping up spinning

Uair: slaps wings together, forces enemies below him somehow

Dair: low range punch with all legs

Nair: spins anti-clockwise

Bair: flips backwards and uses the thick part of himself to meteor smash

Fair: moves forward

Dash: Yellow, like metaknight flies while dashing, but Yellow, as the smallest and lightest character float high above his usual standing place while dashing, by dash dancing he can dodge many attacks while being unpredictable, he also has a huge shield for his side but he has a short roll that isn't very fast but not too interceptable

Very floaty and has muliple jumps (6 each the same size) but despite his wings he can't glide, instead his helpless animation has him holding his wings and spinning

taunts:

^: pulls a toothbrush out of the ground with a hilt similar to the Master sword, throws it away

>: secret (to be revealed after my plot)

v: does a jig

entrance: breaks out of a turkey

victory one: wears an obvious costume of Link and uses his toothbrush to beat down a cardboard gibdo

victory two: digs his way in with a spoon

victory three: eats nachos before juggling them and back kicking them into the screen

hidden victory: same as mine

loss: claps with all six legs then lands on them to clap with his wings before jumping to clap with the legs, etc (mine is just over vigorous claps)

lets make some stages,

Termina skies, the pudding:

a round, sticky desert in space, standing on the topping gives you little traction unless you're one of the climbers, this stage is very destructable but there are metal parts that can't be broken, occaisionally one of the three pipes on the left, right and bottom will fire out cream, they'll give off sirens before hand so don't worry, but be sure to knock in your opponents when you hear it coming.

Termina seabed, FOXY'S LAIR:

a basic stage with no way to get KO'd, except of course if you press any of the buttons, the stage is shaped like this
________________
| ______ _______ |
|_______________|

so there are two floors, the bottom floor has several buttons while the top floor has windows on the left and right that when destroyed, flood the bottom floor that quickly opens the bottom to empty it out, press some buttons on the roof or floor and who knows what'll happen!

Snake: Mei Ling, what is this?
Ling: I'd rather not say...
Snake: Just tell me already!
Ling: Sigh... That's Yellow, you might say he's here for comic releif...
Snake: So he's a joke character, that'll make him--
Ling: Don't be so sure, his attacks are fast and his sub-atomic disassebler packs a wallop
Snake: A sub-a-whatsits?
Ling: Basically it rips you apart atom by atom...
Snake: Gulp...
Ling: Don't worry, it requires time to charge up, plus, I hear these versions are actually shooting cauliflower heads supercharged with energy.
Snake: For the safety right?
Ling: I wish...

Snake: What is Fox wearing?
Colonel: That's not fox, but his name is similar, Foxyboxer, as he is known by his friends comes from another dimension
Snake: Where he comes from isn't the big issue now, colonel
Colonel: He usually prefers to use ranged combat and is a quick sharpshot with a bow, not as strong as Link or Pit but much faster and more precise
Snake: I tried to keep him off balance earlier with quick attacks but he got me somehow!
Colonel: That's his slash attack, it's so quick that you'd have to be downright insane to try and outmatch him with combos!
Snake: Why not put that into actual offencive category?
Colonel: The attack seems quite weak actually, and I hear that if it gets too predictable he can easily be caught so he uses it sparingly
Snake: Whatever he thinks is best...

Snake: So what's this guy do? Shoot fire, run fast, turn invisible?
Colonel: Actually he does the things you'd least excpect, literally!
Murray: HI GUYS!
Snake: Whuh? Get off this frequency!
Murray: Aw, you're no fun, by the way, the toasters done, I'd take it out of the microwave before it gets cold!
Colonel: Snake, Murray's Atomic-Disassembler is his strongest attack, especially at a distance, but since it has another function he occaisionally gets distacted
Murray: We're whalers on the moon! We carry a harpoon!
Snake: I can see that.
Colonel: He also has a giant pudding in space, apparantly he stole the main computer and space pod from Foxy
Snake: Pudding... In space... And not once did he think to give this food to the needy?
Colonel: Several times, several times, thankfully we've always been there to stop him!
Snake: What the heck are you talking about?

Snake: I think I've found Marth's long lost brother...
Otacon:That's Weldar, a boy who contains the body of the manifestation of creative spirit, by using its power to transform, he has taken to transforming into the fighters of Brawl, including you Snake!
Snake: That doesn't explain why he looks like Marth
Otacon: He overused the Marth transformation a little so now his hair is stuck this way, he likes it better though, although he goes without the tiara in public...
Snake: Why does this whole using a body to contain something sound so familiar?
Otacon: *whistles* Look at the time, I really must go!

Snake: This guy... He's just... Too much!
Colonel: Snake, keep moving, Zeld's attacks are extremely powerful, whatever you do don't let him grab you!
Snake: I'm pretty sure I can handle a young adult...
Colonel: One hit from that sword can kill someone with a righteous heart, thankfully he doesn't like using it
Snake: So why does he use it so much?
Colonel: That's not his actual sword, that's just a large amount of magic compressed into the size of a sword.
Snake: Magic? Is that what those huge spheres are?
Colonel: Yes, but don't be too scared, his attacks start strong but get weak quickly as he runs low, if there's anyone out on the field let them fight first!
Snake: Colonel! That's a coward's way out!
Colonel: There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity!

Snake: And this is...?
Ling: He actually doesn't have a name...
Snake: Why?
Ling: He was a cloning experiment, the third and last, when Dark Link and Link fought, Dark Link used some of his counterpart's blood to make a superior clone but the first one was too powerful and shot into the sun, the second was trained to battle Link but eventually became friends with him, but the third, he was released just as the original came back to kill those who tried to kill him
Snake: Then what happened?
Ling: Well what we know for sure is that he found his brother, the second, and his brother named him after himself, Zeldbro.
Snake: sounds cheesy if you ask me
Ling: Mock it if you will but it was a really heartwarming moment...

Otacon: Gangey, he's a real fighter! Nothing but the pole in his hands and the dirt on the ground
Snake: Riiiight, Otacon, you ought to try this some time, this guy's pole is like an extension of his arm, there's no way I can get near him and when I do he throws things at me!
Otacon: Snake, Gangey's very fast, and getting range between you and him isn't the answer, instead get him in the air!
Snake: So you're saying his place is on solid ground?
Otacon: Exactly, but watch out when trying to hit him with hand to hand, at any moment he could hop up on his pole and electrocute you!
Snake: So that means that not even grabs will stop him right?
