	He does talk. In the Wind Waker he occasionally says"come on" when he slashes his sword repeatedly(like 4 or 5 times)

Anyway, I think the silent hero exists so the player can truly step into the character's shoes and make them be whoever they want. In many games, you're either forced to be a moron or some "emo" jerk, regardless of what you choose when you're given options on what to say or do.

And Link also has these sounds (when swinging his sword etc). A game as huge as LoZ will always be able to find voice actors. ------------------- ort

	Didn't Link talk when he met Zelda at Hyrule Castle in Ocarina of Time? Zelda asked what his name was and I think he answered "Link" in green letters. He had to of answered. -------------------
