naw majora is the single most evil and powerful thing encountered yet in the zelda series.

Demise is a demon the first gannondorf as it would be but he desires the triforce as well. Majora doesn't even try to gain power as is the most common objective in zelda villains.

In TP the triforce manage to save that link by turning him into a wolf rather than a spirit giving some clause to reason that the triforce pieces protect the bearers. now considering majora has the perfect chance to steal the lynchpin of the entire franchise, it doesn't. In fact it purposely curses link into the form of a deku shrub laughs in his face and then ignores him to try and smash a moon into termina.

Also if were to go by literal meaning majoras mask isnt even majora its just a prop for his power a mere puppet that can pull moons and plow them into the world for kicks and giggles.

In my mind majora is probably the evil god to balance out the three goddesses.

so as far as baddies go in zelda major wins everytime.

Ok, let me lay down the hard facts for you as to why Ganondorf would without a doubt win this fight, even though many people have already stated the reasons why and others seem to have just ignored them. It doesn't matter how you slice it, you can't KILL Ganondorf without the Master Sword, and even then he typically has to be sealed away, not killed. The Triforce of Power gives the holder near immortality, and only a select few magical items specifically designed for combating evil are capable of nullifying this effect. Majora doesn't have the Master Sword, Light Arrows, or anything that would allow him to counter the Triforce of Power, so it would be impossible for him to kill Ganondorf. And since Ganondorf has it for pretty much every fight in every Zelda game he's in, I'm assuming he does.

What you have here is essentially a "fighting fire with fire" type situation. Majora can fire all the evil magical blasts it wants at Ganon. He can whip him, pound him into submission, or even pull down a freakin' moon on top of him. Will it hurt him? Sure. Will Majora be able to kill him? Not as long as he's got the Triforce of Power in his hand. And while we're on the topic of Majora using the moon as a weapon, I'd like to add that it took Majora 3 days to call the moon down to Termina. An attack that takes that long to come into effect hardly seems useful in a fight like this, and even if the attack were to happen faster, Ganondorf would have a higher chance of surviving it than Majora itself, again, because the Triforce of Power would not let him die. It would just be a huge, pointless suicide bombing on Majora's part with Ganondorf emerging the victor. In short, the Triforce of Power is what gives Ganondorf the upper hand here.

Still going with Majora on this one. If it can do that much by merely possessing a mask, makes me wonder what the real Majora would be capable of.

Clearly you've never played Ocarina of Time with the Biggoron Sword, have you? It damages both Ganondorf and Ganon. No magic required. Just a big blade. And you can take down Ganon with it. Or with arrows. Or with anything that damages, really. You don't need Light Arrows and you don't need the Master Sword, except for the scripted final blow. Which, again, doesn't necessarily enter the equation, since he's already crippled beyond movement by that point.

Also, from what I understand, Majora is a god of chaos (or something along those lines) who was sealed long ago and whose spirit now possesses the mask. One could theorize that it once had a physical form and how powerful that form may or may not have been, but there's nothing concrete, so we might as well just stick with the mask. We do know from the game's script, however, that Majora is indeed a spirit possessing the mask... or the remnants of some curse Majora placed on the mask before it was sealed away... or something in that general ball park. In any case, we can conclude that the actual Majora was much more powerful than his/her/its mask left to its own devices.

Now, since we've established that both Ganon and Majora's Mask can be damaged by most anything--REGARDLESS of what it takes to kill either--we can conclude that they are on fairly equal ground. That being the case, Majora's Mask has more stages to the fight and can take more punishment from stronger weapons than Ganon did or could. I think most would agree that Majora's Incarnation and Majora's Wrath are also much more dangerous with their speed and range than Ganon ever was, lumbering about aimlessly smashing the ground like the Incredible Hulk, and thus more effective in combat.
