Dungeon difficulty is a dubious debate, devoid and derelict of any definitive, demonstrable determination. Despite my delicate discretion, dub me a deviant as I denounce such disassociative discussion. Damn......

Yeah. I still like alliteration, but never again will I be so misled by the path of least resistance!
anyway, Title: for Vendetta.

Hey, cool! He used my idea! I am now fulfilled.
Yeah, that whole page-length space thing is universally annoying. As long as he stops, though, Sol Goode.
Anyway, in response to your query, O Grand and Exalted Master Jynch, my opinion would favour the Fierce Deity sword, not for it's sheer power (although that remains to be seen), but for the simple fact that it shoots projectiles, making it more versatile and useful.

Hmm...but wait! Assuming for a moment that you aren't cheating, you can only use the Double Helix sword in boss rooms. And it only does any good in two of them (three, counting Majora). So, in reality, the Great Fairy's sword is more versatile. In terms of pure, out-of-context strength, though, I guess Fierce Deity's sword is better.

Maplestory. typos happen. Pobody's nerfect.
Termina won't come back, neither will Holodrum, Labrynna, nor Koholint island. Those were just part of sidestories, and their mere existence is left ambiguous.
And yes, Zeldman. Please elucidate on your unfortunate circumstances.

hmm...maybe something is loose inside. Or something with eh wiring. Honestly, I don't think I can help you. I'm pretty much useless when it comes to this stuff.

ooh, harsh sauce, dadark. Don't worry, I still love you *huggles*
And sorry, to hear 'bout your hard drive, Zeldman. Are you gettin' it fixed/getting another one? *huggles Zeldman in a completely heterosexual way*
And Insanity Prevails (it always does, doesn't it?), your graphical prowess never ceases to amaze me. I didn't consider the old header to be bad, per se, but I guess periodical changes are a good thing, too. Makes me wish I had even one artistic bone in my body so that I could have entered that contest. It's the one thing I don't have, and wish I did. *huggles self*

Lovin' the new head Banner for the forum. It's awesome! I second that motion. Anywho, how's this for a topic: If the events of Ocarina of time did indeed create a split timeline, then Majora's mask would have too, n'est-ce pas? But not an infinite amount, just two, really. One where the Moon is stopped, and one where the moon falls and turns Clock town and the surrounding area into a scorched wasteland. Or maybe it's all an illusion...!

*buzz* I'm sorry, Murray, but the answer we were looking for was Zelda II. Thanks for playing!

I have a feeling that TP seems easy for the simple fact that we've all played way too many zelda games, and are experts of a sort by now. I'm pretty sure someone, like my brother, who has had little to no experience would find it more difficult.

I wouldn't say that. I mean, there were a lot of Classic Zelda staples, of course. But then again, with Cannons, the Spinner, dominion Rod, and dual(hook) claw shots, there were a lot of new dynamics involved. Hell, the whole wolf thing in general is new for the Zeldaverse.

*huggles True Link a whole bunch*
I'd like to see a Wii Zelda that wasn't just a Gamecube game that took a little long to make. Not to say that wii controls weren't fantastic.

re: General On Topic Discussion V : for Vendetta

Well, TP had quite a bit of subtext with Ilia, and Midna to a lesser extent. Of course, without the capability of speech to make things clear, coupled with the quest being much higher on the priorities list, I doubt romance will ever be more than subtle hints at possibilities. I mean, Link is supposed to be us, right? He's a blank slate.

So was this one, but me, Muzz, Weldar, and Foxy revived it. Indeed. And now it is a lurching corpse that feasts upon the brains of the living. IT'S A MONSTER! Also play nice you two.

I remember my first posts being in the Tales of Symphonia forum, and only really in the game threads. Essentially everything I said was inherently stupid and ill-conceived.
Not at all like today, rite? har har har!

Well, given that the time period and technology level does not really allow for emigration, it'd be hard to fit in a demographic based in a climate far different that the Hylian one. Plus, if you're talking 'races', I do believe Zora's, Sheikah, etc. do add to diversity.
Also, everyone's a rittle bit lacist.

re: General On Topic Discussion V : for Vendetta

Kafilink sounds like a fan pairing that I want absolutely no part of.
And not everyone has a doppelganger in Termina (ie. Zelda, Ganondorf, Kokiri children), and some even have several (Ingo=Gorman bros., Malon= Ranch sisters). Plus, there are numerous original characters as well. You could argue that they just weren't around in OoT, but I believe that the whole 'Twin' thing was more isolated incidents, and not a rule.
And maybe the fact that reusing character models saves time and money plays into this thing too.

On the high seas, thar be no deadlier a ship, than the CensorShip!
*huggles GroundShaker* I is sorry. You needed hugs, and I was gone.
And I'm kind of in a toss up between Sheikah, who are essentially ninja, and the Gerudo, who are literally pirates. The age old question, n'est-ce pas?
