Where is this?

In the screens with just the blue and green icons onscreen, notice how they are merged when Link's using the bow? I wonder if the system was left hand/right hand setup? That would explain the icons merging when using the bow (as it requires both hands).

In one screen the sword is on the C button and the bow is on what would normally have been the sword button. Very odd. Did this mean at one point the sword button was infact just another button to assign an item too?

I like the look of the Beta better. It looks more real (and I use that term losly). I think that it would have been more fun to play.

EDIT: a page back I read about the wind and Ice medallions. Well I was reading on a site (zelda portal I think) and there was a glitch/cheat that gave you the wind arrow. It might be conected. Rezegen (or anyone with a gameshark), use the beta code, and fire and Ice arrow into the sun at that Lake, just like you would to get a fire arrow. That was supposedly how you would get the ice arrow.

I think I read somewhere that Link was able to combine two items to form a new item, which is why the green and blue buttons are formed together. I guess you had to combine the bow, and the arrows, to form the Bow and Arrows. Link was also able to combine bombs and arrows to form the Bomb Arrows.

Yah. They had the medallions to warp (i think). We might not ever know what they were actually for.
