absolutely stuck in the water temple - Page 2

It doesn't work that way, once you leave the the place your key disappears

You know what, i followed that walkthrough you posted and it lead me to a key that i though i had but i guess never grabbed. i'm stupid, but big thanks for all the help.

The Water Temple is the most complicated and frustrating Dungeon in any *bleep*ing game, ever. There are a couple really awesome Walkthrough's on Youtube that'll see you through the Temple in no time.

I don't know why people hate the water temple so much, sure the entire thing has like 15 keys and there have been reports of people screwing them selfs by using the keys on the wrong doors but honestly my first time playing the water temple wasn't that bad. Granted i got pissed off like everyone else at the cleverly hidden keys and the blue time block behind the treasure chest in the room after you beat dark link but i blew through it eaisly in my second playthrough

you might not be able to continue, there is a glitch if you move a block at the bottom of the dungeon and save the block will stay in that place and you will not be able to get in other room and it's key

Ok, I know there hasn't been a new post for a bit BUT, I'm stuck. In the beginning when you're supposed to follow the princess, I followed where she went but I didn't do anything what-so-ever up there apart from draining the water, now I'm stuck.

No worries - you only missed the Map, which you can grab once the water's back to its highest point later on, if needs be. Meanwhile, light up the torches in Ruto's room (right-hand side on bottom floor), go through the door that opens and get a key. The trick with this temple is to be systematic and thorough - check out every available room on your current floor for keys etc BEFORE raising the water to the next level. Once you have the compass and the map it makes life a fair bit easier, as you'll at least be able to pinpoint the locations of the remaining treasure chests. Give me a shout if you get stuck again as I have this temple mostly memorised.

There shouldn't be any need to restart your quest. By the moving platforms room are you referring to the one with the waterfall, hookshot plates, and two keese on the walls as you come in? How many keys do you have with you? How many chests can you see on the map, assuming you picked up the compass, and where are they? (N,S,E,W, floor level etc.) Also, where do you currently have the water level?
