I have a problem!!!

Check the disc for scratches.If it has a scratch, the most likely explanation, you can either go to a shop that can remove the scratch, buy a device that removes scratches or get another copy of the game.

Sometimes the flaw is so miniscule you can't see it. My first copy of FFIX had such a flaw, and it would freeze in the cutscene with Garnet and her mom at sea, once they hit that big wave, it would freeze.

I thought we were past this toothpaste thing already.

I tried it, and it took off allot of the scratches but my sister was looking at it and she said that somebody cut the front of the disk with like an exacto knife or something, and the fount started pealing off and I think thats why it wouldn't work. so I figured I had nothing to louse. some people told me the pealing didnt matter because its a plastic PS1 game but i think it does.... cuz it was never that badly scratched in the first place when I first bought it:/

that's kinda cool, actually. It reminds me of when your supposede to put an x-box (360?) in warm (wet?) towels to get it working again. Friend tried it, and it fixed his console.
