	Log in to remove this sponsored message The Commodore 64 - the 8 bit computer that took the US by storm, and alongside the ZX Spectrum, the UK as well. The C64 had a massive fanbase, and still has. It has amazing games, like Paradroid, Wizball, Jupiter Lander, and great Speccy conversions, like Jet Set Willy and Head Over Heels. Personally, the C64 holds a place in my heart because of it's SID sound chip. Three channels of sound (one less than the Gameboy ), with great possibilites. To see what this can do, check out youtube.com/lukhashdotcom (I think). It's games were great, better than it's Vic-20 predecessor. 	ah yes..... my favorite game (probably cause it's one of the only one's i remember for it besides Prince of Persia) was Karateka a pretty hard game where you are fighting your way through a bunch of bosses, one at a time, to get to your kidnapped princess...you have 1 life, and if you died you had to start all over...i remember the first time i FINALLY got up to and beat the last guy...went over to the next screen, and the princess was at the other side..i was like "yeah!!!" so i ran across the screen right up to her....and she OHKO'd me....had to start all the way over again...found out later that you had to "walk" up to her or she kills you... there was another war game that i can't remember the name of, that when one of your guys got shot, he says "MEDIC" in the monotone computer voice of the C64 which was hilarious.... yeh...nothing like pressing play on a tape deck, to play a video game...now THAT was living!!!! ------------------- quote Aeirou Omens has an expiration label as soon as he enters a level.. which he voluntarily fulfills

	Im sorry to say I never owned a C64 but I was always round my mates playing his. I did however have a Vic20....now that was kick ass!! -------------------

	I recently played Uridium, that's a great C64 shooter. I have two Retro Gamer magazine articles on the C64, one for the sound chip and music, the other on it's history. I love the tape deck, just like on the Speccy! I'm definitely going to buy a C64, I love the game aspect of them and the music aspect. 	The C64. I have the most vaguest memories of having one. Ours must have been broken as most of my memories consist of waiting for a game to load, only to have to give up ten minutes later. Oh and Rambo III made me cry, as when you die you turn into a skeleton. Those next-gen graphics were just too real for me. -------------------
