--- Welcome to NeoStation. ---NOTE: DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD! VIEW ALL OF THIS POST FIRST!NeoStation is Neoseeker's unofficial Classic Gaming magazine. Here we have articles of absolutely any kind whatsoever, with all different sections for our articles. Including Top 10 Games, Series Flashback, Game Flashback, Console Flashback, and the most active of all, The Dregs. It's definitely a good read, and along with our forum's fellow Classic Gamers' Society, we're hoping to make this forum the best one yet. And this magazine the best read yet.
And don't worry about having to work your way through all of a post to find a certain section. There are anchored links to each little section in this thread. All you have to do, is click on the text in blue to jump to a certain section in the thread.
To find the article you wish to read, find it in the correct section, then click on the blue underlined links to get to the article, which is posted in the NeoStation Discussion Thread.
NeoStation has really helped rekindle my love for the classics. Being educated on a variety of games I didn't have the chance to play as a kid makes me even more keen to relive these past treasures - Archangel
INDEX: NOTE: Please read all of the first post before jumping to sections. - Article Types - - Top 10 Games - - Game Flashback - - Series Flashback - - Console Flashback - - Rules - - Writers' Section - - NeoStation's Readers
Article Types: Click on the links in blue to jump to each section.
1. Top 10 Games Top 10 Games is one of the most active sections in NeoStation. The title means everything towards the section, and be sure to keep checking the section for great articles.
2. Game Flashback Here in Game Flashback, you'll receive a thorough history of the covered game, any other information about the game (developer, publisher etc.), and also a brief review of the game. Definitely something to look at if you're looking to buy a game or wishing to read about something to do with gaming.
3. Series Flashback Series Flashback is virtually the same as Game Flashback, only with a series of games. For example, Space Invaders, Pitfall, The Legend of Zelda and more just like those series'. Also, see the Series Flashback section to see what makes a series a "series".
4. Console Flashback Again, it's a lot like Game Flashback or Series Flashback, but only with a certain console. You should definitely read some of the articles, there will even be articles in there about systems that only a few people may have owned, for example, the Apple Bandai Pippin, or the RDi Halcyon. Be sure to read some.
5. The Dregs It's the bottom of the pile. All those articles that just don't fit in to the other categories. Definitely a good read if you're looking for a short article or two.
Rules:
1. Abide by sitewide rules. This is pretty self explanatory, and obvious. Read the Forumwide Rules of Conduct thread for a full list of forumwide rules.
2. Do not post in this thread. It's simple. Go to the NeoStation Discussion Thread to discuss the articles in this thread. The reason why posting isn't allowed in this thread is because after 30 or so pages, the thread will have to be closed, and all of the articles are stored in this thread, and the thread will probably be closed, which means writing all of this up again, which takes a lot of time.
3. Do not use any of the articles/extracts of articles written by Feisar or other NeoStation Writers. Although these articles are not copyrighted and patented, the other writers and I have to spend a lot time to write them. Therefore, before plagiarizing them, PM the other writers and I with the extract you wish to use, and where you want to use it. Remember, we'll probably let you use parts of our articles, but make sure to give us credit for it (i.e. Write "Written by *insert writer's Neo-name here*.

Your article will even be featured in one of NeoStation's Sections (e.g. Console Flashback, Game Flashback etc.) BUT ONLY IF it falls into that category. If it does not fit into a category, it will just be featured in the Writers' Section. Your article will be posted in the Discussion Thread.
