	I read it quite a few years ago. I enjoyed it but do not remember enough to provide a decent review or synopsis of the story. If you enjoy knights and medieval stories, Ivanhoe is well worth your time. ------------------- Books&Lit Comics Transformers: The Movie Gundam Collectibles

Well, first off I am reading because It was an assignment for my English class but when I started to read it it was quickly in my mind considered a very good book. Sir Walter Scott uses description very well, (and alot ) in this book so you can really picture in your mind the medival type world that you are surrounded in. Of course since it takes place in the Middle Ages. A huge theme of this book that I am not to happy with is prejudece. Mostly against the two main jews in the book. The fair and lovely Jewess Rebecca and her greedy father Issac of York. SWS as you can see in his writing from time to time suffers from a little bit of prejudece against Jews in the form of making their sterotypes, (greediness) come to life in this book. The main conlfict of this book is, well I dont know. There are many of them and many of them are solved in the middle of the book. Ivanhoe vs. Front De Bouef, King Richard vs. Prince Jon, Saxons vs. Normans. A bunch more to. But this book in my opinon is very good indeed and I recommend reading it.
