Longest book you've ever read

Whas the longest book you people read? Mine was a book called Villette by Charlotte Bronte, 600pages of dense text. (oh yeah no holy books included )

The Lord of the rings is actually 7 books so its not really that long.
My longest would probably be Magician by Raymond E. Feist. 676 pages and tiny writting as well.

David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.

This is definatly a book I've been meaning to read, I've heard quite a few good things about it. Too bad I can't get to it because I'm required to read quite a few texts for my current course now.

Longest book I've read was Dragonlance Chronicles (had all 3 in one book). The most difficult book I've read is either Louis Althusser's "For Marx" or works written by Hegel (Albert Camus is a total pain too, all those transcendentalists are). I found both of them so frustrating that I gave up and BS'd my paper. Once I'm done school I plan on giving them another try (considering I know a little more about Hegel now, and Marxist thought is much easier to comprehend). It was my mistake to take a 4th year course in my 2nd year of Uni.

Im not really a reader but ive read A Tale of two Citys(Which I had to read) Harry Potter, and this Steven King book, I dont remember the name, but it was long.

The longest book that I have read throughly is Crusader,which has very small print and an odd 600 pages or so.

Yeah ive read that book too i got up to the 589th page then i just thought screw it im never gonna finish it
