	Log in to remove this sponsored message Love the idea of a book where a group of characters join together for a common cause. A great adventure where this group of characters have to work together. Its always nice to see Good chemestry between characters and strong character development. Soooo If anyone knows of a book with a similar story outline, set in a futuristic sci fi fantasy setting that would be amazing. Steampunk setting is also really cool.......... But i am open to try somthing a bit diffrent

	quote CrystalLaser Even if you don't like the series of video games, the Halo books seem to fit what you want quite nicely...although it's not anywhere near steam punk. I do actually enjoy the Halo games. I am not sure why but the idea of halo as a book really turns me off, I guess i have never really liked books about armies and soldiers. The idea of a Final fantasy or lost odyssey style book would be amazing.

I only read the first book so far but it was amazing in my point of view i couldnt put it down. sounds pretty interesting, I will check it out. Do you know anything of the dark tower series? whats that like?

I have started the dark tower now. Its very diffrent from anything i have read, but i think thats a good thing. May take a afew more pages to get me really hooked though. I have heard many great things about The Stand, i will for sure be picking that up!! Up untill this year, I have not read many books at alll! I was one of those guys who said " I would rather watch the movie or play the video game" But after reading all The Song of Ice and Fire books, I really got hooked. So since about January / february I have read 30 ish books. So i am not the most knowlagable about all the great books. I seem to like all sorts of books, just depending on my mood! Recently i have been wanting to find a sci fi adventure with a group of people joining together. But i have read Horror, romance, action, mystery, thriller...... The lot I love reading now!
